Be careful though, because your parents may find out and probably ground you.

hmmmmm....mabe if i go with one of my friends mom without telling my mom then i could go......that's just waiting for trouble to happen.....but you never know. I don't think thats a very good idea. Imagine how betrayed your mum would feel if you went to see it behind her back? Not wishing to be rude, but how old are you? Ah, no need to answer that, I can see from your profile that you're 14. However, I am a mother, so I think I can give you a parent's view. I suspect your mum thinks you are probably too young to go and see such a play as this, not just because of the nudity (theres nothing wrong with that, us humans didn't always wear clothes) but because of the graphic violent nature that Alan (Dan's character) exhibits towards the end of the play. No matter how old you are though, your parents will always try to protect you from things they deem inappropriate or unsuitable (I'm 34 and my mother still fusses over me!). Perhaps your mum thinks you want to see the play for the wrong reasons, ie Dan Radcliffe in the nude. Perhaps she feels the play is an unsuitable topic for you to watch. Perhaps she has only heard about people being naked on stage and doesn't know what the play is about? There could be any number of reasons. If you really, really want to go and see the play, then I suggest you ask again. Look on the internet for a synopsis of the play. Let her see that it is not about pornography, but, at the end of the day, if she won't change her mind then I'm afraid you will have to respect her reasons. If you want to be treated like an adult, you have to act like one.

Well Sala I think you spoke for most moms on here. I am a mom too and agree with everything Sala said. I know I have gone behind my mom's wishes when I was about your age and I can tell you that if you get caught you loose your parents trust. Be honest with your mother.
I do have to say one thing my mom always gave me advice after I became a mom. Plus I could ask her questions and know that she would always give me the best advice.
Now to answer your question about being a mom. It is fun, very fullfilling job. Being a mom can be easy and hard at the same time. I love being a mom and sometimes I dislike being a mom. You never really get to know what it is like to be a mother until you become one.
My sister-in-law said to me after she became a mom that she didn't know how I could have two children so close in age (15 months apart) and raise them like I have done. She is older then me and finds it difficult.
I hope that answers your question.

Hey handling 1 child can give you a headache. That is good that you have a babysitting job. Taking care of kids at any age can be hard.

Oh yeah. Rich kids can be a pain. But so can the ones without money because they think they are tough and can hurt anyone or anything. I know most of you guys are teenagers but I have to tell you teenagers are just as hard as little ones.
The reason I say that is because now they have more important things to do then spend time with their family.

I have to look after my next door neighbour's children who are 7,5 and 3 very hard. when I was in year 10 I did my work experiance at a school looking after reception it was very tiring. I can't take responsibility for other people's children, babysitting is different. I could never work in a school. How do you do it Monica?

Well Sam to answer your question about being able to work in a school. I love kids. It is hard and tiring but also fullfilling at the same time. I work with children who are about 9 to 11 years of age. They are just starting to become a little independent so they don't need as much attention.
There are some people that work at the school that don't like kids and you can tell. If you don't care for kids then you don't want to work with them.
