They all climbed into the cabs that Shanny had hailed for them. "Thanks Shanny." Monica said as Harry and her climbed in to the cab. "The London under ground." Harry said to the driver.

Shanny sat on Charlie's lap so that they could all fit into the van taxi that drove them back to the udnerground. "No prob" she said smiling as Charlie held her about the waist. Then she added figuring now was as good a time as any to bring up Petunia's odd behavior "What was up with that woman...do you think it was grief or do you actually tink she was serious.?" She was confused and thought that Petunia hated Harry and Aly in equal porportion to loving her son Dudley so much.

"I think it may have been the grief of having Dudley leave and now realizing that she will never see him again." Monica said. "I guess we will never really know the truth." Harry said taking Monica's hand.

"Well maybe they won't send hate mail anymore..." Charlie said remembering the letter Petunia sent to his house when Harry stayed with him and Ron for a few weeks.

Sam decided to do her Potions homework first then did her charms next then DATDAs and then her Transfiguration.

"Yeah that would be nice." Harry said remembering the little that he received from them. Monica took Harry's hand in hers and squeezed his hand. He smiled and looked at Monica.

"Well its over now...so lets not bring it up" Shanny said trying to end the worried faces thats eemed to surrond Aly and Harry.
The van pulled to a stop as the driver demanded 45 dollars for a 10 minute ride. Shanny dug in her purse and handed him a fifty as her and her friends piled out of the car and into the stations.

As they reached the platform they went in pairs of twos through the barrier. Monica and Harry saw the Hogwarts express waiting for them. Harry climbed in first and walked all the way to the back of the train. Monica followed and noticed that Harry didn't go into a compartment but just stood there looking out the back window.
"You guys choose a compartment." Monica said as she slowly walked towards Harry.

shanny and Charlie hung back to give Harry and Monica space and sat on the window seat in the first compartment. They closed the door so as to give their friends privacy and sat holding each other waiting for the train's engine to rumble.

Harry heard the compartment doors close and turned around to see Monica standing a few feet away. "Hey are you alright?" she asked as she walked closer to him.
"I don't know. Dudley wasn't always the nicest to me but I miss him already." Harry said as he tried to hide the tears in his eyes. "I understand." Monica said as she took his hand. "If you want I can leave you alone." Monica said as she kissed his hand and turned to walk away.

Shanny sat there happy that her friends made it throught the whole ordeal without being caught by muggles or getting into serious trouble with Vernon and Petunia. She closed her eyes and the sun began to set. "Such a long day." Charlie said kissing her cheek as he pulled the shade closed so that Shanny could fall asleep peacefully.
