Monica looked at Murcus when he said she was too skinny. Harry looked at Monica and realized that she understood Murcus. Monica smiled at Murcus then swam off to explore. Harry swam to catch up to her.

rosy stayied with Murcia and continued to talk with her about everything going on atthe castle.

Monica stopped swimming abruptly as she almost swam into Arabelle. Arabelle told Monica not to worry about what Murcus thought about her. Harry swam around the corner and heard Monica and the other mermaid talking Mermish. Monica turned around just as Arabelle finished talking. Harry smiled at Monica as he swam towards her. Monica was apologizing for not telling him she could speak Mermish. "Don't worry, I figured it out back there. I just wonder how Murcus doesn't know you can speak Mermish." Harry replied.
Arabelle smiled at this and said in Monica and Harry's native language, "Because Monica doesn't let on that she understands what is said when she comes down here." Harry looked at Arabelle as she spoke like he does. "Nor does Murcus know I can speak your language." she responded to the look on Harry's face.
Arabelle then said to Monica, "I think you look great since you lost all that weight. YOU are not too skinny." she continued. Monica smiled and replied, "Thanks." and gave Arabelle a hug.
Arabelle swam off so Harry and Monica could head back to their friends.

Murcus said "Do you have alot of new friends here?" she said to Roxy smiled and said "yeah I have a few but not many of your friends like me very much especailly the women they dont like me but they sure like cedric" she said as they swam past him being surrounded by teenage Mermaids their hair all around his body he smiled at her but then he saw his friend Gabe swim by her he spoke English and Murcus knew that so it was ok he said in english "Heyy Ced come here real quick" then he sworm out of the large group of girls then Murcus said "lets go hang with them Gabe is really cool and I will meet yall later they are having this party later tonight and we can all hang out there till yall have to go is that ool?" then Roxy said "Yeah sure lets go catch Ced and Gabe" then they swam up fast to them they started laughing Murcus's hair flowing bhind her, her golden talk stood out from all the others. Murcus rarely laughed but she was this time Roxy was freinds with her because the others were scared but Roxy neer felt threatened when near her.
They caught up to Gabe and Cedric she swam up in fron tof him "heyy baby" then she kissed him and Gabe said "Ohh lala haha ohh nice to see you join us Roxy I am gabe ohh Merchieftness" he said then bowed she shoeed him off then said "Heyy Gabe dont do that I ma going tobe normal tonight Roxy is going to change me up a bit" she said in Mermish she didnt know english Gabe translated to english for Cedric he said 'wow thats very nice of you Rox lets go get ready at Gabe's"

Harry and Monica swam back as the Roxy, Cedric, Murcus and Gabe went off in a different direction. As Monica and Harry watched them swim off the teenage mermaids that were looking over at Cedric swam over to Monica and Harry. Some of them said hi to Monica while the others looked at Harry. Arabelle swam over and told the girls in mermish that he was taken. Monica smiled and replied thanks in mermish. The girls didn't seem to mind that he was taken they flirted even more with Harry as he tried to get away from them.

"Well, Cedric really is a ladies' man," said Dan. "Especially with the merpeople."
"Yeah, you're telling me," Aleysha replied.
The pair of them looked around them and Dan said to break the silence, "We should go and try catch up to everyone."
"Good idea," Aleysha replied.

Monica finally swam over to Harry and pushed her way towards the middle where he was located. "Hey babe." he said, "Get me out of here." he continued as Monica took his hand. Harry and Monica swam off towards the castle with Arabelle.

"Where the hell are they?" Dan asked as they continued to swim through the lake, not finding any familiar faces.
"I don't know," Aleysha replied. "Maybe we should just head back up top. I'm starting to get pretty cold down here anyway."
"All right then honey," Dan replied as he took her hand and they headed towards the surface.

Once Monica, Harry and Arabelle had reached the castle Arabelle opened the door and let Monica go in first with Harry to follow. Arabelle gave a thumbs up to Harry as he swam by. As soon as Monica entered she heard singing in Mermish that she screamed. Harry smiled as he saw the look on Monica's face.
Monica turned around and looked at both Arabelle and Harry and said, "I don't believe you two did this." "It was all Harry's idea." Arabelle said in Mermish. Finally the singing stopped and Monica turned around said thank you in Mermish.

Back at the common room Sam got up and went downstairs still to find no one has arrived back from the lake. Sam then sighed and climbed out of the portrait hole then went looking for her friends. Realising its getting late and knowing they are all going to get in trouble, Sam lied to Professor Flitwick and said her friends were all in bed. Sam ran outside to the lake and went to one of the Merpeople and spoke Mermish: Tell my friends to get back to the castle now because the teachers are getting suspicious about them. The Merperson nodded her head and then swam to find Sam's friends. Sam waited at the bank for them all to return.

Monica went over to Harry and gave him a hug. They party continued for a couple of hours. It was fun watching the merpeople dance around the castle. Some of the merpeople started to leave because it was getting late.

ROxy Gabe Cedric and Murcus had fun dancing and swimmning around but alot of people were leacing early so a random mermaind came and said to Roxy "a girl is standing aboe the lake saying she knows you and that you are going to get caught for being down here or somehting or other" Roxy said "i have special permission from Albus so i am allowed to bring people to coneverse for my book so tell her that thanks'' then she smiled at the person.

Monica and Harry were dancing with many merpeople. Monica was thrilled by their surprise party for her. Arabelle had disappeared for a little bit and Monica had not noticed so when she returned she was surprised to see her with some presents. Arabelle told her to open them when she went back to Hogwarts.

While walking through the castle Dan and Aleysha were still drying themselves off with their wands on the way up to the Common Room, where they ran into Professor Flikwick.
"Why are you two out of bed, dripping wet?" he asked. "I was told you two were in bed, along with your other friends."
Dan and Aleysha looked at each other and then they looked at Flikwick.
"We, lied," said Dan. "We never went to bed. We had a run in with Peeves and he dumped buckets of water on us."
"Oh so he got you two as well," he said. "A couple of students ran into him as well, shivering after they saw him. Go up and see Madam Pomfrey and she'll give you something to warm you back up."
"Thanks," said Aleysha and they walked off.
"Well that was lucky," said Dan once they were out of Flikwick's ear shot.

Sam walked back up to the castle and ran into peeves who threw two buckets of water over her. Sam screamed then shouted IMMOBULUS. Peeves froze in midair of throwing another buckeet aimed at Sam. Sam then ran to the hospital wing and said Peeves threw two buckets of water on me. I froze him though. The bloody Baron will get him for sure. Sam then went over to a bed and sat on it while Madam Pomfrey gave her a warm flask of liquid Sam drank appreciatively. Sam then looked up and Saw Dan and Aly, and said where were you all?. I just got drenched with two buckets of cold water by peeves. I had to freeze him.
Draco saw Sam wasn't in bed and went to look for her.
