Shannon and Seamus has successfully escaped when Seamus remembered that it was Shannon's birthday. He blushed and Shannon smiled and asked "What's up babe?" He looked down and said, "I totally forgot that it was your birthday... sorry?" Shannon just smiles at her forgetful but totally hot boyfriend and says "Forgiven and to tell you the truth I really didn't want anything,- dramatic pause- other than this" she leaned in and kissed him.

Monica listened to everything Samantha had said. "Oh. Glad you two had a great time together." she said. Harry held Monica close and smiled. "I guess we are done with our fun time." he joked. "No we are having more fun sitting here with our friends." answered Monica.

Samantha got up and went over to the window to see her owl snowy flying towards her, Samantha opened the window and snowy flew in onto Samantha's arm. Samantha took the daily Prophet from her and opened it up to find that her dad's death on the front page.

Monica heard Samantha gasp. She got up to see what made her gasp. "Oh my. I hate that." Monica moaned seeing the front cover. Seeing that article brought back memories of her adoptive fathers murder and being in the Daily Prophet. Harry saw Monica turn ghostly white that he went and pulled her in for a hug.

As Monica and Samantha were hugging Monica started to cry. Harry touched Monica's hand to let her know that he was there for her. Dean walked over to Samantha and touched her hand too. "It will be okay." Monica said trying to compose herself.

Dan and Aleysha just heard the news themselves about the death of Samantha's Dad being on the front page of the Daily Prophet.
"These people just don't care I swear," said Dan. "What next will be on the front page? New found pair of Death Eaters, will son follow their footsteps?"
Aleysha wrapped her arm around his waist.

Samantha got up and asked Dean if he would acompany her to Dumbledore's office so Dean accepted, They both told the others where they were going and then they climbed out of the potrait hole and went to Dumbledore's office.

"Dumbledore's office"
When Samantha was told to go into the office by Dumbledore she did, They were both asked to sit down, so they did. Dumbledore then said to Samantha "i know why you are here i have also read the daily prophet. Samantha said Rita Skeeter wrote it Headmaster". Dumbledore then said "you know whats true and what isn't. He then said i'll shall sort Rita out, i will give you a letter on the situation in two days, i suggest you go back to your common room and just forget about it for now. He then asked Dean to give Samantha some Distractions." They then both got up and said thank you and left his office.
*In The Common Room*
When Samantha and Dean returned to the common room Samantha went over to Rita's daughter and had a heated argument which ended with Samantha slapping the girl across the face and punched her which broke her nose so blood was pouring out and dripping down her face onto her blouse, Dean and Dan grabbed hold of Samantha by the waist, while Harry and Ron grabbed Rita's Daughter by the waist to prevent them doing anything more. Monica handled the situation by telling Samantha to go to the dormitory and told Aimee to go with her, while Monica told Rita's daughter to go and get an ice pack, Monica went with her, with Aleysha. The guys just stood there shocked Dean then Said She didn't deserve that".

"Come on May, Madame Pomfrey will be able to fix you up in no time." Monica said as they escorted her to the hospital wing. "Hello Madame Pomfrey. Um we need a little help." Aly said as they took May over to the bed. "What happened here?" she asked.
"I got a hold of one of Fred and George's telescopes and accidently got punched in the nose." May said as blood dripped down her face. Madame Pomfrey took her behind the curtain and started to take care of her. "You ladies don't have to wait. I will keep her here overnight until the bruising is gone." MP said. "Yes Madame. May we will see you later." they said.
Monica and Aly walked back to the common room. "I can't believe she lied for Samantha." Aly said. "I know. I understand Samantha is upset but I feel sorry for May having a mother that does things like that." Monica said. They climbed back into the portrait hole. "Madame Pomfrey is taking care of her." Monica said as she walked up to Harry and put her arm around him.
"Well Monica and I have to go to the Gryffindor common room. We will see you later." Harry said. "Bye guys." Monica said as she left with Harry.

Harry walked Monica through the portrait hole and took her to a quiet corner. He took her hands as they sat down. "Are you okay?" he asked.
"I think so. That just brought back bad memories and feelings." I said. "I remember Rita writing that article about my adoptive dad and then about who my real father was I wanted to kill her." I said with tears welling up in my eyes. Harry pulled me close and held me while I cried. "I'm sorry I thought I was over all this."
"I know. I'm just glad you didn't hit May when we met her." he said. "I could never do that, she didn't write the articles about me and you." I said as I stopped the tears and just looked at him.
"Thanks for listening." I said. Harry smiled as he pulled me next to him.

Samantha was in the dormitory with Aimee, Aimee asked her why she did that? Samantha said i just did it without thinking, i know i could of just walked past and did nothing but Rita skeeter is her mother so i just slapped her and punched her because i hate Rita. Maybe i should go down and apologise to May. Aimee said that isn't a good idea leave it for tonight and do it tomorrow everyone is still in shock over it. Samantha thanked Aimee for being there for her and then said i am going down to the lake do you want to join me? Aimee refused politely and said i am sure Dean would be happy to go with you. So Samantha went down to the common room and asked Dean if he would accompany her to the lake, he accepted and they both went out of the potrait hole hand in hand to the lake.

Aleysha rested her head on Dan's chest and asked him, "Do you think, if the Ministry ever find out that is, that the Prophet will make it front page news about your parents?"
"Most likely," Dan replied. "Anything to do with Voldemort goes on the front page of the Prophet most of the time."

Shannon was on her way back to the common room, Seamus had left her to go, to get his homework, he'd promised to meet up with her later, so she kept heading to the common room, when she noticed a Daily Prophet lying on the floor, she looked down at it, so see Sam's father on the page. She raced up to the common room then, not caring about nearly running over Filch. He screamed at her as she kept running. When she got there, she immediately began looking for Sam. When she found her she asked "Are you alright?, I saw the paper and literally raced up here to make sure your ok. So again, you alright?"
