First Quidditch Match Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor

Monica had walked down to the quidditch pitch with Harry. "Well I guess this is time to say good luck and bye." Harry said as he pulled Monica close for a kiss. "Yeah good luck." she said. They both went their seperate ways to their teams locker rooms.

Monica went into the Ravenclaw locker room and changed into her quidditch robes. Her father had just given her a new broom for her first match. She opened it up in the locker room and was looking at it. He had given her a Firebolt. Now she just had to wait for the rest of the team.

Heather came into the locker room with the Nimbus 2000 she was given for Christmas. She waved to Monica and went to the benches and started to relax, waiting for the rest of the team to come.

Monica waved at Heather. She was trying to relax since she would be playing against her boyfriend. She got up and started to pace the locker room. She made sure she had her wand securely in her robes.

"Why so tense, Monica?" asked Heather who was making things zoom around the room with her wand.

"Oh. Just that I have to play against my boyfriend today. He is an awesome seeker. Just don't let him know I said that." Monica said with a smile.

"O.K. so you either told me that you didn't have enough faith in this team, or that you didn't want to beat your boyfriend." Heather replied. "Which is it?"

"Oh no. I want to beat him but he has played longer then me. I have faith in our team. I am afraid that I will be made a fool of that is all." Monica said.

"No you won't. C'mon. I'm the new player. If anyone is going to make a fool of themselves, it's me!"

Monica smiled. "Thanks Heather but you will do fine. I know we can beat them. He doesn't know that I have a firebolt either. He thinks I still have the comet I used before. Where is everyone else.?" Monica said as she looked out the curtain and heard the noise of the stadium.

"No clue. They'd better hurry before the game starts." said Heather now getting anxious.

"Yeah I can see it now. We loose by forfeiting the match. I will never live that down." Monica said starting to relax a little. "We should just go over some plays while we wait." she said sitting down next to Heather.

"O.K. sounds good." said Heather returning the flying objects back where they belong. "What's first?"

"I don't know I am just the manager. Aly has all the plays. I just think the chasers should score alot. I will catch the snitch." Monica said with conviction.

Roxy was sitting in the stands cheeering as was eeryone else getting ready for the big match

"Do you know who else is on the Quidditch team?" Monica asked Heather as she went over to the chalk board to write down the names and positions of the Gryffindor team. "I know Harry is Seeker, Ron I believe is still Keeper and Ginny is a Chaser. Does that sound right to you?" finished Monica.
