I don't know if we have enough people on here to do awards. I also think we need to keep the threads to a minimum because if it gets to many then people start getting confused and not wanting to join. That is why Jane did the last clean up. I am not against it I just think we need to think things through before we start making a mess in Ravenclaw. We already have alot of unused threads and would like to get rid of them if they aren't going to be used anymore.

Slytherins don't scare me. I am not worried about them taking over.

I don't know EJ about swapping roles. I enjoy doing the rping. I just am not crazy like you are. I think we should start out slow don't want to scare away any new members with the crazy stuff to fast. lol!!

Lol. Your last post here really made me think Nutz. Hmmm. I think you just have one thread for the Ravenclaw Prophet or whatever we're going to call it. So firstly we'll decide the name. And then, I thought, it's going to be a monthly newspaper, so it will give people enough time to write their own columns. But this time I thought, instead of assigning a few people, that anyone can actually write to it. Tell me what you think of this idea. Also need to think of an idea for the banner if this idea goes ahead.

As for the awards, I said before that they will be Ravenclaw based. And I think I'll do all the tallying of the votes. All you Ravenclaws will just vote for who you think will be suitable to win for the selected category. This won't be happening until near the end of the year. I can't remember when I held the ELM(o) Awards; but I think it was near the end of the year.

I will make polls of these two ideas, just so I get the general idea of who wants to do it and who doesn't.

The Ravenclaw Prophet (whatever we're going to call it) will not get deleted. But I will think about the awards. Or perhaps we could do the awards monthly; so that the year round competition threads will have to be replaced each year. Hope you understand what I am saying - because those who have been with me a long time know that I never will, lol.

I was joking about the Slytherins. Lol. I remember the time that Sala sent me a PM and said that people were taking Slytherin house too literally in the Hogwarts RPG threads. I don't mind if you take them over at all.

I don't know exactly how I feel about the awards or the prophet ( or what ever it will be called). I just don't want to see us get too cluttered in our house again that we get lost like we did before with two many threads.

Now for the awards we only have a few members that are on regularly: Nutz, Aly, Sam, Shanny, Roxy, and now EJ. I don't know if you plan to make it like before where people would put in their choices through email/personal message or how ever.

dw Rox as long as we own the forum it doesn't matter. Everyones lives are hetic. I havwe three days at college and they filter all the sites apart from hotmail. which is annoying. As long as we keep ELM going with posts thwn I don't mind what we do on here. In another two yrs the final movie will be out. I don't know what will happen to the HP sites though. Some might get shut down.

Hey Rox, I understand about busy schedules. I have my kids schedules to work around plus my own schedule with work and trying to have a life out side of the house. Good luck in Volleyball what position do you play? (My daughter has played Volleyball since the 7th grade.)

I see what you mean Nutz. What I am thinking is that for the awards I have a thread that no one can reply to that just has the different categories that you can nominate for. Then when the process is over, I will just edit the post to put the winners in.

For the newspaper it will just be one thread and I will just post the Prophet (or whatever it's going to be called in it monthly, rather than have several threads for the different newspapers).

How does that sound?

I am an amazing outside hitter!! I hit inside the ten foot line often and have a 26 inch vertical! i am short so that makes up for it but really is she good? i am already trying to talk to collegs about where i am going to play

I don't think she wants to play in college now. I am not sure because she keeps changing her mind. She is good when the rest of the team is good. Her high school team is not very good so she is trying to do too much. This year she didn't do a travel team because she is working plus she only tried our for one travel team.

Ok seeing as none of you can suggest any ideas; I have decided to call the newspaper The Ravenclaw Diadem, and the awards The Ravenclaw ELM(o) Awards. So now some banners. I will create some here and you can tell me what you think of them. I wish Leigh was here. She could make me another one like she did for The Ravenclaw Diadem, but make it blue.
