Dumbledore looked at Draco, "What happened to her?" "Nothing." she said. Draco looked at her, "She passed out when everything happened with Dan." he said. "Oh really." he said as he looked at her through his half moon specticals.

"Look here, I think I found something." Hermione said. "We need to get somekind of charm for Dan and simply cast this....long... 3 page... spell." Hermione said showing me.
"Well, it's better than nothing." I said. "Does it say what the charm has so be?"
"Nope, it can be something as simple as a ring on a necklace chain." She said.
"Awe, well in that case, I have the perfect thing." I said. "Come on, check out the book and meet me in the common room in 5 minutes. I'll get the other's and the charm."
"Alright." Hermione said rushing over to check out the book. I raced back the way we came, everyone was still in the same place as where we left them.
"Follow me." I said as I passed them.

Monica and everyone followed Aimee back to the common room. "What did you find out? Is there something we can do for Dan?" asked Monica.

"Yes, Hermione found a spell we can cast on a charm that will help him be more in controle of his commings and goings. Hermione will be here in a second with the book. Problem is, the spell is like 3 pages long... front and back. So we'll need to consintrate." I said rummiging through my bag.
"Got it." Hermione yelled from down stairs.
"Alright, be right down." I yelled back.
I found the locket that Dan had asked me to keep hold of. It was of his mother and father. Lockets werent popular items of jewlery for guys to wear around. So I kept it save.
"We'll use this. You can keep it hidden under your uniform." I said. "Come on, lets get started."

"Okay." Dan said as they all walked down to Hermione. "Wow that is a huge book." Monica said. "Okay we have to be in a circle around the item to be charmed." Hermione said as she put the locket on the table.

"Where are the candles?" Hermione asked me.
"Ah! Oh yea, hold on I'll go get them." I rushed back up stairs and grabbed 10 long candles. I raced back down stairs. I pulled out my wand and made them all levitate to their holders. I snapped my fingers and the lights went out and the candles lit them selves.
"Ok, is everyone ready?" Hermione asked. "We need to consintrate. This is a long spell... longer than any I've had to do." She said. We all nodded.
"Alright." I said. "Lets get started. Join hands please."

"Okay." Monica said as she took hold of Draco's and Amiee's hand. Monica closed her eyes and concentrated on the locket they were charming.

"Since we all can't look at the book at the same time, I'll read, you all just consintrate on what I'm saying. On how this is going to protect Dan." Hermione said.
We all nodded and closed our eyes. Hermione began to read the spell slowly, making sure she didnt miss pronounce a word, or skipped something.

Monica continued to concentrate on the locket and the words that Hermione was saying. Monica's hand twitched in Draco's hand but she didn't release his hand.

10 minutes passed and Hermione finally finished.
"Ok... that should have done it." Hermione said. "Dan... try it on... it says that if it worked... you should feel a great amount of power comming from it."

"Finally." Draco said with a sigh. "I don't think you have ever sat still for that long." Monica said as Dan put the necklace on. "So how does it feel?" They asked.

"I don't know... I think I feel power from it." Dan said.
"Well, then lets try something." I said. "Wingadrium Leviosa!" I said pointing my wand at him. The spell hit a small sheild around Harry and flew back at me, causing me to fly across the room and hit the wall. "Yup.... it works." I said.

"Ha. Are you okay Aimee." Monica said as she went over to help her up. "Now that we know Dan is protected I guess we can rest." Draco said as he sat down.

"Ouch, yea, only a flesh wound... fight on!" I said as Monica helped me up.
"Well atleast I know I'm safe from you." Dan said with a dumb smile.
I calmly walked by and punched him hard in the arm. "Yea, totaly safe."
"OUCH! Damn it Hermione! Isnt there a spell.. or a can of bug spay we can use to get rid of her!?!" Dan said rubbing his arm.
"No, fraid not." She said with a laugh.
"Ha, you lose again Dan!" I said.
"Arg." He said sitting down next to Draco. "Why is it always me?!"
