Dan and Aly had to drag Monica out of the room. "Oh man she is mad." Monica said sitting down. "She doesn't have to get so mad. I didn't know he was my father until this month." Monica sulked.
*Downstairs*
"Well explain yourself." Aimee stammered. "First put the wand away." Snape said. Aimee reluctantly put her wand down. She stared at him.
"First I very well couldn't tell you that I had a daughter when she didn't even know I was her father. Her mother had left me for reasons you can probably figure out. She was murdered. I was not allowed to have my daughter so she was put in a wizarding family. Just recently her adoptive father was killed because he was a Deatheater that had switched sides. After her was killed Dumbledore said it was time she knew." Snape took a breath.
"And you think that gives you the right not to tell me." Aimee screamed.
"No but we are still getting to know each other. I can't pressure her into knowing all of our family at once." Snape said. "I think that is enough for now. I would like to see my daughter before you decide to kill me." He sneered.

"I hope so." Monica said listening for any sounds out of the ordinary. "Everything is pretty quiet down there." a worried Monica said.

"Severus! How could you keep something this big from me!" I screamed.
"I just thought..."
"Well stop thinking and start acting!! Severus, I dont have a family, you are the only one I had till now! And when I find out you had a daughter, at first I was a little excited... but then I remembered that when you told me that I was your sister we promised to tell eachother everything." I said.
"I know..."
"Obviously not!" I said
"Aimee, can I say something?"
"Not until I am done! Severus how could you seriously keep something this big from me?! It's the starting of my family! I have more than just a brother. I have a niece!"
"You have those adoptive parents dont you..."
"The one's that beat the crap out of me everyday?! Those loveing people! I mess one thing up and they brought out the belt!" I started to cry. "If it wasn't for Dan I would have been dead! I hid out in his room for day's to stay away! Dan is more of a brother than you ever can be!"
"Aimee..."
"Can I finish or are you going to keep interupting me?"
*he sighed*
"One of my best friends happen to be my neice... what? Did you think you could keep it a secret?"
"No.."
"We made a promise to eachother to tell eachother everything. I told you about my abusive parents, you could have let me know I had a neice out there somewhere..."
"Aimee please, I didnt even know she was mine. I swer it."
"Get out, please, I dont want to even look at you."

Monica heard Aimee yell at her father to leave. She went running down the stairs. "No don't leave. You may be his sister but you are not his boss."
"But he lied.." "STOP IT! Let some one else talk for once."
"Yes he lied. He never came to see me or anything. I got lucky that my adoptive father was great but he was recently muredered by...." Monica looks at Dan. "Then I found out that my dad had been watching me all these years that I have been here."
"Monica stop don't defend me." Severus said.
"No I need to get this all out. My mother left him and he was forbidden to see me or talk about me. So when you are yelling at him you are also yelling at my mum." Monica broke down and cried. She couldn't stop. Severus went over to her and carried her to the sofa.
Severus looked at Aimee as he pulled a chair up next to the sofa and sat down.

"Monica... I didnt mean to upset you. But you have to understand, this has nothing to do with you..."
"It has everything to do with me! He is my father Aimee!"
"Ok I understand that! But do you know how I ended up with abusive parents, it's because of your FATHER!" I bursted into tears and fell to my knees. I covered my face with my hands.
*Dan came over to me and tried to help me up but I wouldn't budge.*
"Monica, I dont hate your father, but me and him are going to have our differences." I removed my hands but kept my head down, my voice was calm but full of anger and pain. "He sent me away because he was jelious that mom and dad always wanted a little girl but had him. When they had me, unfortunatly they died. Your father left me on the door step of two people that would have killed me if they had the chance."
"Aimee?" Dan said.
*I stood up and turned my back to Severus and Monica. I lifted my shirt half way up my back to reveal scars covering my back.*
"Oh my god." I heard Severus say.
"Now you have seen it..." I said as I lowered my shirt. "I'm going to bed." I turned around and didn't even look at Monica or Severus as I walked passed them. I walked straight up the stairs without a word.
"Dan?" Severus said. "They really did that to her?"
"Yes sir. And when we tried to go to the cops... they would always have a cover story. They were never arrested." Dan said. He gave a look to Severus and looked down at Monica.
"Good night." Dan said. He walked to the stairs, he took Aly's hand and they left.

Monica looked at her father in discust. "How could you do that?" He went towards her but Monica backed away.
Snape stood there. "How could I raise her when my own wife had left me. I was angry and I reacted the wrong way. I was doing some very bad things then." "I know you had Lily and James muredered. But your own sister just because they wanted her more then you." She said.
"There is nothing I can do about it but put it in the past. I will understand if you don't want anything to do with me." He said as he walked out.
Monica sat down. "Now I know why Voldemort never wanted any love it is to painful." Monica cried herself to sleep on the sofa.

*The next morning I awoke to the smell of food that was frightly fermilar. I got up and put on my robe. I walked down to the Gryffindor kitchen and saw Dan making breakfast.*
"Dan, what are you doing?" I asked.
"Making you breakfast, and anyone else who wants my famous..."
"Happy face pancakes. Yea, I know. You use to make them for me when would hide away in your room from...." I looked down at my bare feet.
"Hey, its ok, it's all in the past now. They can't get you here. And besides, you can protect yourself now. You know with your magic." He said.
"True... but I would feel bad."
"What in the hell is that suppose to mean?" Dan said giving me a look. "Aimee, they..."
"I know what they did, but still, they are the only parents I have ever known." I said. "Hand me the plate, I'll eat in my room."
"Ok, but me and Aly are going to join you, no arguments." He said with a sly smile.
"Ok."

Aleysha woke up and saw that Aimee came up with some pancakes.
"Hello there," said Aleysha, rubbing her eyes. "Who's cooking pancakes?"
"Dan," Aimee replied, cutting up her food.
Aleysha put on some slippers and went downstairs.
"Hey sweety," she said. "You haven't made those in a while."
"I thought Aimee needed some cheering up," Dan replied. "I used to make them for her a lot. Want some? There's enough to go around."
"I won't argue with you," said Aleysha, walking into the kitchen and gave him a kiss. "I'll have some."
Dan kissed her back and said, "Go upstairs and keep Aimee company, I'll bring them up to you."

"Hey, so why is Dan cooking you breakfast?" Aly said as she sat down on her bed.
"Make me feel better I guess." I said taking a bite of the pancakes.
"Why?..."
"Breakfast is ready!" Dan said commin in the room. He handed Aly her plate and sat down with his at the end of her bed. "Feeling better Aimee?"
"Yea, thanks for the breakfast Dan." I said. I craked a smile. "I remember when you first tried to make them for me when your parents were gone on one of their 'busness trips' and you got flower everywhere."
"Oh yea." He said with a laugh. "And you didnt even help me clean up."
"I wouldn't have either." Aly said with a laugh.
"Love you too." Dan said sarcasticly at Aly. She made a kissy face.
"Ok, if you two start that kissy stuff, these pancakes are going to come back up, and Dan is going to clean up." I said with a laugh.

Monica awoke the next morning smelling pancakes. She didn't feel like being around everyone so she got up and left the Gryffindor common room. She walked all the way to where the Room of Requirement was and walked back and forth 3 times. When she opened the door she was back in her room at home. She went over and sat down on the bed just to think.
