Brrrrrrrrrrringggggggg. As Monica folded up the letter her doorbell rang. I wonder who that is at this hour. Monica thought looking at her watch. When she opened the door she was surprised to see her best friend at the door. "Hey there stranger. Long time no see." Monica said letting him inside. "I've missed seeing you." Draco said giving her a huge hug.
"Come in, would you like anything to drink." Monica said while Draco still held her. "No but thanks. Let me look at you." He said just looking at her eyes.
They finally sat down and reminisced about old times. "So what brings you here?" Monica asked. "Can't a man just visit an old friend." Draco smiled. "Well of course but I just got your letter today. I didn't expect to see you." Monica replied. "I wanted to surprise you." "Well you sure did."
"So what are you doing today?" Draco asked. "Nothing." Monica sighed. "OH you aren't seeing anyone?" Monica shook her head.

Aleysha helped Dan feed the kids and then they put them both in the play pen in the lounge room.
"Right, once we get these two off to my parents," said Dan, holding onto Aleysha's hands. "It will be just you and me baby, and we're going to have lots of fun."

Monica looked at Draco, "So what are you doing today?" she asked. "Well I guess I am spending time with you." He smiled. Monica flushed. "Hey lets go catch a movie and then some dinner." He said taking her hand. "Wait I look a mess." She said. "No you look beautiful." He said giving her a kiss on the cheek.
They left for the movies.

Draco had taken Monica to a romantic movie. "That was a great movie." She said as they left the theartre. "Now where are we going for dinner?" Monica asked. "You will see." Draco took her to the C'est de blue restaraunt. (I just made it up).
They got a quiet table for two in the back.

"Hello?" Cedric and I walked into an empty common room. "Where is everyone?" I said putting my stuff down.
"I dont know... maybe they all went out." Cedric said.
"Monica? Aly? Dan? Anyone?" I said running up the stairs. I went into the girl dorm. Their things were there, but they weren't. I went into the boys dorm, same thing. "So much for that." I said.
"Lets go see you brother, maybe Monica is with him." Cedric said.
"Good idea." I said.
"Yea, every now and then I get a good one."

Draco had order a bottle of wine. "You know what that does to me." Monica smiled. "Yeah I do." Draco sniggered. "Oh you are still bad."
They sat a talked a little small talk. Draco had ordered Filet Mingon with asparagus spears and baked potato for them.
Monica slowly sipped her wine so as not to get tired.

"Severus!" I said walking into his class room. He was grading some papers but he looked up and smiled and looked back down at his papers.
"Welcome back sister." He said. Finally he stood up and came over and hugged me.
"Did Monica make you take your meds?" I asked.
"Yes mother dearist."
"Please dont say that, its creepy for too may reasons." I said.
"Where is Cedric?"
"Scared, he went to go say hi to some of his friends." I said.
"Why is he scared?" Severus asked.
"Well I dont know, maybe because you didnt want me to go alone with him and you turned him into a horse fly so I would be LATE FOR OUR TRAIN!" I said.
"Oh, yea... forgot about that."

Draco grabbed her left hand. "So I see you are still a free woman." "Yes." Monica blushed. "You sure are on that subject alot today." she said.
"Well I figured by now you would be married with kids and everything." he said. "Like I was telling Aly this morning Mr. Right hasn't come around I guess." she looked at him. "So what about you? I don't see you with a wife and kids." "I guess it is just that I haven't found Miss Right." He smiled while stroking her hand.
When their dinners came they slowly ate while giving sly looks at each other.

At around 6:00 Chey and Neville picked up the kids and went back home. Since most of them were at Hogwarts they only had to pick up 5.

When Draco and Monica had finished their meals Draco moved closer to Monica. He looked into her eyes. Monica started to tilt her head down when he gently touched her chin and leaned in and kissed her. Monica returned the kiss.
When they finished kissing Draco took her hand, "Monica I have missed you so much these past years. I don't know why it took me so long to realize it but I love you and I always will." He looked into her eyes and continued, "Monica will you marry me?" he blurted. Monica tried to say something but was at a loss for words. Finally she nodded and whispered "Yes."
Draco pulled out the ring he had in his pocket and put it on her finger. He then kissed her again. Finally they went back to Monica's place.

Dan and Aleysha had a pretty quiet anniversary this year. They went out for a walk at the park around mid afternoon, when Dan told her that he got tickets for the two of them to go on a cruise for a few days, leaving tomorrow.
They just got home to get ready to go out for dinner to this nice restaurant on the water. They made out at the front door of their house for a little while before deciding to go get changed. Aleysha let Dan get ready first and she decided to call Aimee, because she was due back from her holiday.
She dialled her number and waited for her to answer.

They walked inside and Draco took off Monica's shawl and hung it up for her. "So now what do you want to do to celebrate?" He asked pulling her close. "Well not what you're thinking." "Hey I had to try." He smiled. "I guess we should tell my dad." Monica said.
