"Well I really have to go, I'm going to be late for my ultra sound," said Aleysha.
"Hey Aleysha, do you mind if I come with you?" Dan asked
"No not at all, you are the father of the baby after all," Aleysha replied.

"Miss Potter, we're ready to see you now," said the doctor.
Dan and Aleysha went into the room and closed the door behind them.
"All right Miss Potter, let's see how the baby's going," said the doctor.
Aleysha lied down on the bed as the doctor turned on the screen, lifted up Aleysha's top a bit and started searching for the baby.
"Uh, here it is," said the doctor.
Dan and Aleysha looked at the screen, Dan was seeing his child for the first time.
"That's our baby," he said, tears filling his eyes.
"Don't cry sweetheart!" said Aleysha, holding onto his hand.
"I'm just so happy, our first baby," said Dan, "I'm so glad I'm apart of this."
"Of course you are!" said Aleysha. "I love you Dan."
"I love you too Aleysha," said Dan, kissing her forehead.
"Your baby is doing just fine," said the doctor, "Everything is normal in this stage."
"We're very happy to hear that," said Aleysha.
The doctor printed up a photo of the ultra sound and they went back to Dan's house.
They came through the door and Aleysha said, "The baby is doing very well."
Dan looked around the place and said, "Yep, curtains still in one piece."

"Oh, I am sure that Kimia would be that interested in pulling down curtains," said EJ politely. "So how did the Doctor's appointment go?"

Dan put his hand on Aleysha's stomach, Aleysha put her hand on his and said, "Oh it was fine, the baby's doing really well."
