Roxy was suprised when they werent ready but they spoke well enough and then left Roxy then took the mike from Monica and said "well my gift is right here WHOAHHH!!!" she shouted then handed the lead singer of the Weird Sisters Myron Wagtail then the curtain rose and Myron said throught the mike "WElll Roxy was freaking out if we didnt show up for SHanny and Charlie so this one is for you" then they started playing their hit single double double toil and trouble

Harry took Monica's hands in his. "You know I am here for you." "I know. I just haven't told them you know about......" Monica couldn't finish her sentence. Harry pulled Monica close and patted her on the back. "I can't tell them now especially during Shanny's and Charlie's wedding. It is a time for them to be happy and not worry about me." she sobbed. "You make it sound like it is the end of the world." he said. Monica smiled, "I don't mean to sound like that. You know how hard it was to come to this wedding after..... you know....." "You need to talk about it, it will help." Monica took a deep breath and finished her sentence, "after seeing Draco with Pansy. How could he do that too me?" she sighed.
Harry just held her as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Dan and Aleysha clapped after Harry and Monica gave their speech. Dan had a plate of food in his hand so it was a little harder for him to clap.
"Got enough food?"
"Actually no I need some more," he replied as he walked off to the food table again. Aleysha just remembered she still had Shanny and Charlie's gift so she went over to the gift table and put their present there.

"Why don't you go and freshen yourself up and then we will go and have a great time at this reception." Harry said. "You know I didn't say I was coming with you as just a friend." he finished speaking as Monica looked at him. Monica always had feelings for Harry but never acted on them she never knew how Harry really felt about her.
Monica smiled and went to kiss Harry on the cheek, as she got closer Harry turned his head so their lips locked together.

On the way back to where Dan and Aleysha were standing before, Aleysha noticed that Dan was still piling up his plate.
"Dan, there are other people here too who will be wanting to eat eventually," said Aleysha who dragged Dan away from the table.
"But-"
"You've got enough for now."

Monica didn't pull away from Harry. She felt very warm and happy inside. Harry slowly pulled away. He then looked at her and started to say, "I'm so sor..." Monica but her finger up to his mouth, "No, don't apologize." she said with a smile. Harry stood up and helped Monica stand up too. Monica went to the ladies room to freshen up, Harry waited outside the door for her to finish up.
Monica looked at herself in the bathroom mirror and noticed her eyes were red but happy. She had a slight flush to her face. She took her eye drops out of her purse and put one drop in each eye. The redness in the eyes had vanished. She quickly ficed her hair and makeup then walked out the bathroom.
Harry was still standing there waiting for her holding a name place marker in his hand. Monica looked at it and noticed what was written on it, HARRY POTTER & MONICA SNAPE. Monica smiled and whispered, "Thanks." as Harry put his arm around her waist and they walked back in to the reception. The Weird Sisters were playing.

Shanny almost cried when Roxy began her speech, a small tear lingered in her eye for a moment but was soon replaced by complete awe when the Weird Sisters announced their song. Charlie grabbed her waist and ushered her out onto the dance floor. Shanny smiled so happy, she forgot all about the mysterious figure who was still present at her reception.
Standing in the back Collin, stood watching the dancing take place. First he had tripped the woman who brought the cake and now he was holding the main electric switch that supplied all the power to the main hall. He snickered as he waited for the right moment to pull it.

Harry found there seats right by Aly and Dan. "Hey guys." Monica said as she sat down. "So Dan is that all for you or are you going to share?" asked Harry as he pushed Monica's chair in, then he took his seat. Monica turned and looked at the happy couple dancing. "They look so cute." she said as Harry took her hand.

Roxy saw a figure in the back holding the switch she ran off the stage and tackled the guy holding the switch and running in her dress was difficult but she managed but the guy was on the floor she still didnt get a good look at his face though

Monica smiled as she watched them dance. Harry moved closer to her and whispered, "You okay." Monica nodded. Harry then asked her if he would like to dance. Monica took Harry's hand and went out to the dance floor to join the newlyweds.
As Harry and Monica arrived on the dance floor the music changed to a slow song. Harry pulled Monica close so she couldn't leave. "I hope you don't mind." he said as they danced. Monica smiled, it had been awhile since she felt this happy. "Not at all. You are helping through a very difficult time." she said as she put her head down on his shoulder.
As they danced Monica felt Harry's breathing quicken. She pulled her head up to look at him just as he leaned down and kissed her again. "I love you Monica." he whispered as he stopped kissing her. Monica didn't respond but blushed. "Harry, ...." she started to say when he put his finger up to her mouth and said, "Don't say anything."

Roxy had the guy on the floor breathing heavily while Cedric was walking around looking for her and then she saw her wrestling some guy for the cords and then Cedric made a huge thump and jumped on him too and snapped the cords from him but then the guy did something toattly wrong he took Roxys face and kissed her but then ROxy bit his tongue and Cedric hit him in the face. THey hoped they were far enough as to not draw attention to themselves but ...

Harry continued to dance with Monica. He wouldn't let her talk or respond to what he said. Monica smiled and just kept staring at his eyes. He had beautiful green eyes. The song ended and they headed back to their seats. Some people were looking towards the back of the stage at something that was going on.
"Do you want to check it out?" Monica asked. "No, I would rather find a nice quiet place to talk." he said as he walked her out of the hall and into a very private room. When Harry closed the door Monica opened her mouth to say something when Harry put his hand up, "Not yet. Please I don't want you to say something we both may regret." "But you don't know what I was going to say." she said.
Harry just looked at her as she walked over to the love seat to sit down. Harry walked over to the love seat but didn't sit next to her instead he knelt down in front of her. "Mon, I know you loved Draco for a long time." "Please I don't want to talk about him or how I felt about him. When I saw him with her in my house that almost killed me let alone my father." Monica said. She didn't cry this time. It had actually felt good to say it. She just realized that she didn't have feelings for him any more.
Harry noticed she wasn't sad after saying that. He took her hand and looked at her ring finger. "I noticed that you had the ring on when you arrived here then you took it off. When and why?" Monica smiled, "Right after you kissed me, I knew I was over him." Harry looked her in the eyes and smiled.

Aleysha rushed over to Roxy, Dan was still stuffing his face ((lol Dan works out to burn off all that food)). Aleysha doubled back and grabbed him.
"Come on, you can part with your food for at least five minutes," she said as she dragged him away.
"Hey! What's happening here?!" Aleysha asked.

Harry and Monica didn't know what was happening in the reception area. Harry looked at her. "When you came to Hogwarts that day and told your dad. He looked at me and knew I was happy to hear it. He then sent you to his place. Your father and I talked. He told me if I hurt you like Draco did that I would die. I told him that I have loved you forever and lost you once and wouldn't let you go this time." as he finished speaking he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small red velvet box. "You don't have to answer me now." he said as he stayed on his knee, "Monica will you marry me." Monica looked at him with tears in her eyes. She hadn't been this happy since the day she became friends with Harry.
Monica couldn't help herself. She launched herself at Harry and started kissing him saying "YES, YES, YES." They continued to kiss behind close doors..........

(LOL didn't I do that same thing to you, on your wedding day with Draco?)
Shanny wrapped her arms around Charlie's neck as the music softly drifted to a slow song. He kissed her and she smiled saying "I think I'm getting better at kissing in public" Charlie smiled as shanny kissed him.
Collin pulled the cord from the wall cutting out the lights and music and quickly diasapeared from the crazy woman and man who had kissed and beaten him. He ran with the cord shreading it inot pieces and left in hanging on some chair sparks flying every which way.
