Monica saw Roxy coming in and asking her question, "Well how do you think it is going?" Monica gritted as she squeezed Harry's hand. "Madame Pomfrey please tell me she is ready to deliver." Harry winced again as Monica kept squeezing his hand.
Madame Pomfrey looked at all the people. "I need to have everyone except Harry to wait on the other side of the curtain please.

"Uhhh OhHh" she said then looked down at the pile of water under her. then said "I am supposed to have a week!"" she screamed "Cedric its time for the baby my water just broke we cant deliver on the same day" she said

Madame Pomfrey saw the water under Roxy. "Okay I need some one to go and help Roxy. Monica isn't quite ready yet." "WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!! I AM READY!!" Monica yelled as Harry wrenched his hand free. Madame Pomfrey looked at Monica and said soothingly, "Dear you don't want these babies to come out too early so the longer it takes the better for you. Remember you are only 8 months along." she wiped Monica's forehead of sweat. Monica did remember her doctor telling her that the longer she could keep the babies inside her the better chance for them to survive.
Monica nodded as Harry took over the wiping of her forehead. The contractions started to subside so she was able to relax a little. "Thanks hun." Monica said to Harry as he kissed her forehead. "You are doing fine." he said as James came running back into the hospital wing.
"Sorry dear but he said you were hurting, so he wanted to come back." Severus said just as James ran to his daddy. "That is okay dad."

"Shanny! Monica's in labour! She's in the Hospital Wing!" said Dan.
Not giving Shanny the time to register what he just said, he took her by the hand and dragged her towards the Hospital Wing.
Aleysha was keeping her eye on the door way. She then just heard that Roxy's water just broke and she needs attending to.
"Roxy! Don't panic, Dan's gone to get Shanny, it'll all be ok!"

Monica let her son James sit on the corner of her bed. "You have to be careful about your mum." Harry said as he picked James up and put him on the bed. "I will." he replied. "How is mum's tummy?" he asked as he put a hand on her tummy. Monica smiled, "My tummy is fine. You remember what I told you?" she asked as she smiled. James nodded as he said, "Mummy is having more of me!!!!!" Monica chuckled, "Close." Monica was starting to feel better. James' hand was still on her tummy as she felt the contractions disappear. James went to move his hand and Monica felt a tugging in her belly. "James don't move your hand away, I don't mind."
Harry looked at Monica as she thought, 'The contractions stopped when he touched me.' Harry smiled at Monica as James said, "Really mum?"

''Where is Collin I want to see Colling before this one comes out" she said breathing deeply as she was pu onto the gurney an she heard Monica "You ok girl?" she said then her first contraction started she started screaming "AHHHHHH THIS SUCKKKSs SSSOOOO BADDD"

Monica didn't mind that Roxy didn't answer her she knew what it felt like to be in pain.
Monica smiled at James, "Why do you ask me that?" she stated to James. "Does the con.....what ever that word was really stop when I touch your belly?" he asked. Monica and Harry looked at each other not believing what they were hearing. "Well it looks like my grandson has some exceptional powers." Severus said as he stood behind James.
Monica and Harry nodded in agreement.

Shanny rushed over to Monica. "Hi there, MP says your about 5 centimeters along you have a bit to go but this should help" Shanny inserted some pain killer into Monica's IV. "It should speed you up as well" She knew triplets tended to come early and was ready for them... "I need 3 cribs set up, with warmed blankets and wash rags" She ordered to the others who were just standing about.
She then turned to Roxy who was in the cot beside Monica "ok you, tell me how long have your contractions been coming?" She noticed that Roxy was further along and pulled out her wand to set up a crib and blankets for the baby.

Monica didn't need the medicine since James was touching her belly. He was doing something but she didn't know what it was. Harry turned to Shanny and said, "Don't worry about Monica right now Shanny, her contractions have stopped." Harry held Monica's hand and gave her some ice chips to help with the dehydration.
Monica noticed that the babies kicking had slowed down too. James looked at his mum and said, "How long do I have to keep my hand here?" Monica smiled, "Is you arm getting tired?" she asked. He nodded. James removed his hand and the babies started kicking again.

Just then Collin walked in the wing and Cedric propped him up and the front of the bed "Mommy are you ... popping out my brother?" Roxy laughed and said to Shanny "Ohh they have been for a while but I thought it was normal cramps or whatever then my water broke and now I was screaming" she said to Cedric "Mommmy has to go through child birth so can someone give him the t-shirt from my purse it says I am the brother then I DOnt want him in here when I am giing birth but the second he comes out I want him in here ok?" then Cedric nodded and Collin slipped the shirt on and went into the other room in the wing.
Roxy said "UHHHOHHH another one is coming" she screamed again with the contraction and squezed Cedrics hand

The contractions had stopped. Madame Pomfrey came over and checked Monica. She noticed that she wasn't dilated any more. "Well dear I am keeping you hear to monitor you and the babies. It looks like you aren't going to have them today." she said. Monica sighed. She hoped she wouldn't go into labor for another day. Harry looked at Poppy and said, "James and I are staying right here with her ma'am." she nodded as she conjured up a larger bed so they could all be together.

MP was done looking at Monica and came oer and looked at Roxy she was 4 centimeters dialted and she said "Roxy have you been pushing?" she shook her head and said "well een though Monica wont hae them today you sure will"

James climbed into the nice large bed right between his mum and dad. "I like this." he crooned as he rolled over on his belly and looked at his parents. They smiled at him. "So do I." Monica said as the babies kicked gently. Harry looked at them and smiled. He was proud to see his family so happy.

While all this was going on, Dan, Aleysha, Elizabeth and Jacob were sitting on the other side of Roxy and Monica's curtains. Madam Pomfrey came out from behind the curtains and went over to them.
Dan and Aleysha both got to their feet and Dan asked, "Well, what's happening?"
"Monica won't be having her children tonight, Roxy on the other hand, she may. So, you and your family can stay in the Room of Requirements. I'm sure you two remember where that is."
They both smiled.
"I'll let you know if there is any news," she said.
"Thanks," said Aleysha. "Anyway, come on you two, bed time."
"Awwww!" they both moaned.

Shanny looked to Madame pomfrey grateful that she was watching her friend Monica. She watched and waited as Roxy breathed and screamed through the contractions. Cedric rubbed her forehead and Shanny smiled remembering how great Charlie was when she had hayden and Gabrielle.
