i didnt really expect THAT many people to die. when jk said 2 main charactes will die, i thought ONLY 2 main characters will die. so that was actually quite a shock for me.
lupin, tonks and dobbys death were probably the ones that upset me most. mainly because lupin and tonks just had a kid and well i just loved dobby!!
apparently lupin wasnt meant to die though. i read in a jk interview somewhere that mr weasley was meant to die in OotP but she decided to save him and kill of lupin instead! i know this probably sounds awful but i think i would have preferred mr weasley to die over lupin.

OH I had heard that on Dateline. I understand why she decided not to kill Mr. Weasley. She said in the interview that she had thought about killing Mr. Weasley and then changed her mind because Harry had lost enough father figures in his life. Mr. Weasley was like a father to Harry. I know Lupin was a close friend to Harry but not as much of a father figure like Sirius, and Dumbledore were to Harry. There was something else she had said about Lupin and Tonks son but I can't remember what it was.

i was so upset about lupin and tonks dying. their deaths hit me the hardest. and when hedwig died, i was so mad. i thought it was pointless and unfair. as for lupin dying instead of mr. weasley, i really understand why JKR changed her mind. i don't like it, but i understand.

Everyone who died in that book I cried, well apart from the death of Fred, maybe because I thought he wasn't dead and I didn't realise he was until later on. But the death that really hit me the most was Dobby's. Just the way he died, it was so sad.

dobby's death did hit me but not as hard as tonk's and lupin's. but just think, he died saving the lives of others. in a way, that sort of conforts me.

Gred and Forge =( well, it was shocking but I mean it was inevitable... the happiest pair in any book can't be happy forever. The most shocking was Lupin and Tonks... I understood why in a literary sense (as Sala put it, it put their son in Harry's position. A nice little parallel =D!) but it was still saddening to my heart.

i know it sounds wierd, but the only person that died that i cried for was Dobby. i mean he was always just so sweet to everyone, and when he died it just didn't seem right. i thought i would feel that way about when harry died, but i kinda saw it coming, so i really didn't think it was sad. i knew it was meant to happen, that it was the only way to end everything.and when i saw what harry had carved on Dobby's little makeshift headstone, i just thought that was so sweet.*sob**sniffle*
