What surprised me most washow Kreacher was willing to help the trio. I really didn't expect it!
Ron leaving would be second & then Olivander being alive.

I think that the fact that Narsissa helped Harry was surprising, seeing as she seemed so committed to the Dark Arts.

I don't really know what surprised me. The fact that Ron left surprised me the most. I knew Olivander was alive so wasn't too surprised by that. Cissy I don't know. She always struck me as the type that tolerated the dark arts because of her husband nothing more. She loved her son more then the dark arts.

i think what surprised me the most was that Harry was the seventh Horcrux and was willing to kill himself to save his friends...

ok now i said snapes memories but that was only half true. i wasnt suprised by snape being innocent but i was suprised by snape being in love with lily.

I didn't expect Aberforth to show up. He's been such a "ghost" (excuse the pun), throughout the series that I didn't believe he woudl have a big part in this book, either.

i really don't know what surprised me the most. i could make an entire list if i really wanted to. some of snape's memories really surprised me but not the fact that he loved lily. i always knew that =)

what surprised me most was that Snape was in love with harrys mum!!!! that was shocking. I was also surprised about Dumbledore's past, I always thought of him being flawless!

i agree with the 2 above me ^^. i always saw dumbledore as an innocent and i got confused when it started talking about his past and his obsession with the hallows and everything. and kreachers actions did surprise me. after everything that happened between the trio and kreacher he suddenly turned around and helped them. strange little house elf..

Honestly, the fact that so many people died was the shocking factor for me. It ended up being quite a gruesome escapade O.O

woah..did i forget that? it really was that shocking for me. there was a war coming, voldemort was getting ever more powerful..for me that just spelled out "there are going to be a lot of deaths" for me. it really didn't shock me like i know it should have..

A lot of things surprised me too. Dumbledore's past, Ron just walking out on Harry and Hermione like that, all those people who died ((I wasn't expecting so many to have died)), I had a feeling Ollivander was alive because when he went missing in book 6 I knew there was a reason behind it, and there's more but nothing comes to mind right now.
