Hello, I'm a new member!

Hi all!
Its great to see a new member and even old come back. My name is Mary and I have been here for like 3 or so years, I guess... its been a real long while lol I know I have been failing at keeping up around here. Classes, work, marching band, and everything else take all of my free time. I can't sing, but as you can see I am in marching band, and from my name-bandgeek- so I can play a few instruments lol.

Just reading about your olympic watching comments and I would just have to say that I love the olympics. I just really like watching all different countries come together and compete. And I agree Tessa, I am a big phelps phan! Most people are a big fan of him around where I am because I go to college right down the street from his high school, and I live not far from where he lives, so Micheal Phelps is big around here.

I have to agree that change is good, but I don't really change my signature, because I can never decide what I want to change it too. lol I have a horrible time making decisions lol

Oh that is such a wonderful page. I have to admit that I cried when I read about her Memaw and the Johnny Cash thing. I have just one question what is your Papaw's real name? Since he is in the Country Music Hall of fame I would love to know some things he did.

Howard "Buddy" Lee Combs was his name. Everyone called him Buddy. He played with the Texas Playboys. He also was friends with Willie Nelson, Ray Price, Merle Haggard and Bob Wills.
