whats going on with the whole veil thing...i think sirius is dead  but there was definately something funny with that veil...what were those voices he and luna could hear?? the 2 way mirror is definately important, jk wouldnt have put that in if it didnt mean anything. also, im not sure if someone has already pointed it out, but in OotP, the barman in the hog's head looked familiar to harry....WHO IS HE??? i just couldnt think of it. What was the 'gleam of triumph' about?? hmmmm |

I was wondering the same thing about the bar man at the hog's head. When I read the description again I kind of got the feeling that he could possibly be Dumbledore's brother. I don't know why but just a feeling.

Yes but I want to know exactly what he heard. Dumbledore says that Trelawny was saying the prophecy when a disturbance outside the door and the person who was eavesdropping was caught. So how did Dumbledore hear the whole Prophecy and Snape didn't. Did Snape hear the whole thing but only tell Voldemort some of it.

He only heard part of it becuase the barman cuaght him eavesdropping so he wasn't able to hear it all.
