I havent read all the posts so i hope no one has said this but i believe dumbuldore is still alive, i think that he knew the necklace was a fake and that voldemort would attack the school so he got snape to make a potion that would make it so the spell snape [glow=red,2,300](who is on the good side)[/glow] did would not kill him and the reason hefaked his own death was he knew harry would be able to stop voldemort with him out of the way. I know its a long shot but it could happen. so what do yall think?  |

yeah but harry saw((and heard)) snape do the avada kedavra curse on P.D.
and even moody said there's no way to block unfogiveable curses.

i mean i know he's the greatest sorcerer in the world but moody said himself you can't block an unforgiveable cusre.but i know he's still around in some form.

This is one thing I really haven't gotten into. I don't know which way to think. I haven't really thought about it. I just feel that he is dead.

I hate to burst your bubbles....ah heck, no I don't! hehehehe....
JKR has said in numerous interviews and on her website too that Dumbledore is definitely, totally, completely dead! And, as Dumbledore said in one of the earlier books (I can't remember which one, possibly PS/SS), there is no way of bringing the dead back to life!
And Moody actually said there was only one person alive who survived the Avada Kedavra curse and that was Harry Potter.

Well Sala you didn't burst my bubble. I really never gave any thought to Dumbledore being alive. I sometimes take things that I read at face value and nothing more.

yes... dumbledore is dead no matter how much we love him. But he will always be there as long as there are those who remain who are loyal to him.

Yes I believe that his spirit will be around. Not like Nearly Headless Nick's is around. I just think he will be in a portrait in many different places that Harry will be able to talk to and get advice.
