They didn';t keep Dobby because they say he's too expensive to have him on (haha!). but what really makes me wonder is that why did they take him off & skew the plotline a little, while the Thestrals, which were not really that plot-related & could have been replaced easily by anything (Brooms or something. They don't have to live up to Hogwarts a History in the movies.  ) & kept them. Do you think JK had a hand in that? Mayeb they're coming back in DH? Of course, I'm REALLY glad they did. I'm really loooking forward to see the animated version of them. & There's Grawp too. Why dod they keep him? Do you think Jk wanted him in too for future planning? |

Yes those are very good questions. I have wondered the same thing about why they got rid of Dobby and everything. I guess we will find out in a couple of months.

i was sooo upset when they didn't have dobby in GoF.i waited sooo long to see him in that movie...but i did wonder the same thing

i would hate it if they cut out the scenes of detention with umbridge no matter what though, these r gunna be awsome special effects

i know i cant believe dobby was so expensive i wonder how they r gunna get kreacher and dobby in the sixth movie with them tailing malfoy annd fighting all the time it would stink and then there would be no way for harry to find out about malfoy so they have to put them in there...right?

they might just make so that they have a hogwarts student follow him around instead.that's is what they did in the fourth movie-replaced a house-elf with a student.

I had heard that Kreacher was in the movie. I don't know if that is true or not though. It was something I had read. JK had read the script and said that they may want to add Kreacher. That makes me think that he is in the movie plus he will be in the last book.
