"Thanks Shanny." Harry whispers to her. "Oh great Gilly Weed. That tastes really good." Harry said sarcastically. Monica chuckled as she listened to the Professor.

Luckily snafflejack had a talent for Herbology. She hadn't really let on to the others that she had a knack for it, because she was new, and they thought that she would have been a skite. She sat near the Professor just in case she got chosen to demonstrate in front of the class how Gillyweed was used.
"Now that you have all settled down," said Professor Sprout, "I will got through all the properties of Gillyweed. Can anyone tell me what Gillyweed does?"
snafflejack's hand shot into the air, missing Harry's glasses by inches.
"Yes, snafflejack?" said Sprout, smiling.
"It's a plant that helps ones survive underwater for an hour," said snafflejack promptly.
"That is indeed correct," said Sprout. "Ten points for Ravenclaw."
Nutz, Refo and Shanny (I don't know what you are doing in here. I thought you were a Gryffie) winked at her and gave her the thumbs up.
"Now," said Professor Sprout. "Who would like to demonstrate this?"
snafflejack nearly toppled over a pot of Venemous Tentacula seeds when she hurriedly made her way up to the front of the class to join in the experiment.
"OK, snafflejack," said Sprout, as she put the Gillyweed into her hand. "Do not eat this yet. Wait until we all go down to the Lake and then you will be able to demonstrate to the class how this Gillyweed will take effect."
snafflejack placed the Gillyweed into her pocket and set off with the others to the Lake.
"snafflejack, you will need to be very careful when you're down in the lake," said Sprout cautiously. "We will not want you being captured by any mythical beast that lies down there."
snafflejack took her robes off and waded into the lake. Stuffing the Gillyweed into her mouth, she gagged as the slithery mixture played with her tastebuds.
She then took a deep breath and went under the cool, refreshing water. The Gillyweed seemed to take a long time to take effect, and Professor Sprout was beginning to wonder why something wasn't happening. Suddenly, snafflejack leapt out of the water like a whale and then dived back into it before re-surfacing. The class was ecstatic. Nutz, Shanny, Refo and Harry ran to the surface of the lake after an hour had passed to lift snafflejack to her feet. Professor Sprout wrapped two towels around her before congratulating her on her fine efforts. She further awarded Ravenclaw another ten points before ushering them to their next class which had turned out to be Double Potions with the Slytherins. ):

Monica and Harry had huddled together while outside in the snow by the lake. "Why would she choose such a cold day for this." Monica said to Harry. "I don't know. I already know what it feels like to eat Gillyweed and everything." Harry said.

"Now we have double potions. Ugh. That means I have to see my ex-boyfriend." Monica moaned. "Yeah and my nemisis." said Harry. "You know I still haven't told my father about us. Wait until he sees us in class together." Monica says.

They walk into the Potions classroom and take seats near the middle of the class. Draco looks over at Monica and Harry together. He sulked into his seat. Harry gave Monica a kiss just as Prof. Snape walked in. The look of shock on his face was priceless. "Well I guess he knows now." whispered Monica.

I am a Ravenclaw too. And I don't brag about myself being smart because I am not a skite.

snafflejack entered the Potions classroom and, to Harry and Nutz's surprise, she sat beside Malfoy and kissed him. Malfoy glowered. snafflejack's kisses always made him feel special. He told her something, and she smirked. She flashed her eyes over at Nutz and Harry, smirking, before resuming kissing with Malfoy. Nutz looked at Harry with a very puzzled expression.

At that moment, Snape entered the room. Malfoy and snafflejack stopped kissing to pay attention to the lesson. Malfoy was Snape's favourite student, and didn't really want him to fail Potions because it would make him look bad.
"Settle down, settle down," muttered Snape, as the scratching of a piece of chalk was writing up today's lesson. Harry scowled. Snape wouldn't tell Malfoy if he had come in late to settle down. "Today, we are going to be learning about the Polyjuice Potion. Now, who can tell me what that does?"
Malfoy's hand shot into the air, as well as Nutz. Being Snape, he chose Malfoy because he favoured his own house before all others.
"Yes, Malfoy?" said Snape maliciously, smirking as Nutz's hand went down dissapointedly.
"The Polyjuice Potion allows a person to turn into another at will," said Malfoy derisively.
"Precisely," said Snape. "10 points to Slytherin. Today, you are going to learn how to make it."
"All of the ingredients are on the board. Most of them should be in the Students Store Cupboard. Ingredients such as Lacewing Flies and Boomslang Skin are in the Potions Closet. I will go and access them to bring back to the class. And while I am away," added Snape, looking over at Harry. "I will not want any mischief. If there is any, dententions will be given."
snafflejack and Malfoy looked over at the two of them and smiled maliciously. They both went over to the Students Store Cupboard to recieve the ingredients that were needed.

Monica looked at Harry. "I'm not surprised by his choice of girlfriends. She is as bad as Pansy if not worse." she whispered. Harry smiled. "I think I will have a talk with my father later." she said.

Monica went and got Harry's and her ingredients from the student cupboards. She went back with everything. "I figured if you went he would give you a detention."

Prof. Snape came back with the Lacewing Flies and Boomslang Skin and handed them to each table. "Sir may we please have some." Monica said. He scowled then said, "Yes MIss. Snape." Monica smiled and took the items. "Thank you sir."

"I think it bothers him that his daughter is dating his nemesis' son." Monica said as she worked on the potion. After they were done adding the ingredients that could go in for now Prof. Snape walked around the room and inspected all of them.

"Nicely done Mr. Malfoy." he said. He came over to Harry's and didn't say a thing. He looked at Monica's, "Very good Miss. Snape." he said with a slight smile.

"Tonights homework is to write a one page essay on the effects of taking Ployjuice potion and what you can not change into." He said. "Your cauldren's will be stored here until they are ready." He said.

Everyone started to file out of the class room. Prof. Snape said, "Miss Snape I need to have a word with you." Harry started to stay but Snape looked at him so he left.

"Mr. Malfoy could you please stay too." he said. Snafflejack looked like she was going to stay but Snape told her to go too.

"Okay what is going on?" he asked. Monica looked at her father. "Well dad we broke up." she said. "I figured that much out." he said. "Why?" "Well Harry asked her out and she has been crushing him forever so she dumped me." Draco angrily said. "Is this true?" "Yes."

"Well I don't ever want to see either of you guys making out in my class again." he said. "You may go, Draco." Draco left the class.

"Now dear why didn't you tell me before class? That wasn't something I enjoyed finding out about during class." her father said sitting on the desk. "I'm sorry I didn't get to see you before class." she said. "Dad why do you hate Harry so much?" she asked.

"That is something you needn't worry yourself about. I guess you are going to ask me to be nice to him too." he said. "Why bother you won't." Monica said with a smile.

Snape laughed. "You are my daughter." "Well you better get to lunch." he said. "Okay. bye dad." she said as she gave him a hug.

Monica left and met Harry out in the hall way. "Hey dear." she said as she grabbed his hand and they walked to the great hall for lunch.

Megan had been in the Hospital Wing all day when she had been a victim of one of Fred and George' pranks on the Crabbe and Goyle. It had turned her purple and she had a non stop nose bleed. Finally Mademe Pomfrey had turned her to her normal skin tone and the nose bleed had stopped. As she was walking to lunch she flet someone grab her by the waist and swung her around. She knew who it was a started laughing,"Cedric let go of me!" She screamed. He stopped and smiled at her,"Are you feeling better?"
"Yes much better."
"Oh the twins wanted me to give you this." Cedric the gave her the card,the box of every flavored beans, and a mix cd of her favorite bands. She laughed and said,"Wow the twins being nice!"
"I know it's amazing!" Cedric then laughed,"So you want to head to lunch?"
"Yeah come on." Megan said grabbing his hand.

Dan and Aleysha saw Megan on their way down to lunch.
"Megan! Hey!" said Aleysha. "You're finally out of the Hospital Wing!"
"Good to see you up and about Megan," said Dan. "You just missed Potions you lucky thing! I had no idea that the Polyjuice Potion was so difficult to make!"
Aleysha laughed and wrapped her arm around her boyfriend's waist.
"Come on, lets go to lunch," she said.

Monica and Harry met up with Aly, Dan, Megan, and Cedric at the door of the Great Hall. "Hey Megan glad to see you are feeling better." Monica said. "I see Fred and George feel really sorry." Harry said pointing at the candy and cd. They all headed into the Great Hall and sat down at the Ravenclaw table.

Megan laughed,"Yeah I was shocked when Cedric handed this stuff to me. I was worried it was going to explode or somthing." as she sat down next to Cedric

"Yeah it takes time to sit and everything." Harry said. "And it tastes terrible too." he said making a face. Monica put her arm around him as she poured them some juice. "Just don't think about it." Monica said.

Anyway Dean and samantha went back to the common room after lunch. they sat down on the comfy chairs by the fire and decided to do Snape's homework to get it out of the way. While they were doing snape's homework an owl flew in at the open window by where they were sitting. the owl landed on the arm of the chair by Samantha, it has a letter tied to it's leg. Samantha took the letter and opened it to find that her mother has written a serious note about how Samantha's dad been taken to St Mungo's after a venemous snake has bitten her dad in the neck, Her father is critically ill. Samantha shows Dean the letter, while Dean is reading the letter Samantha Cries. Dean says to her come here, so Samantha go over to him and cries on his shoulder.

"Blimey! I can't believe I still have my hair on after that ruddy Potions" muttered Ron.
"Oh don't worry, I can see didn't lose it yet"
"Huh?! you saying am going bold?..err...like dad?"

As Samantha was crying on Dean Her mother's head popped into the fire, Samantha went over to the fire and asked her mother how is dad? Her mother replied i am afraid it isn't good, he is not going to make it. Samantha asked if she could go and see him but her mother said no because she didn't want her to see her dad in that condition. Samantha's mother told her to stay at Hogwarts with Dean and the others. Samantha's mother told Dean to look after her. Her mother's head popped. Samantha went back to Dean and asked him to help her keep busy so she doesn't think about her dad. As Samantha and Dean were playing Wizard's Chess, another owl swooped through the window and had another letter for Samantha. The letter written by her mother confirmed that her father died 10 minutes after her mother was talking to her in the fire. Samantha started crying again so Dean got up and went over to her and said it will be ok because i will support you through this you will not be on your own. Samantha gave him a kiss on the cheek and hugged him. As she hugged him she felt tears rolling down her cheeks. She started crying again. As Dean was comforting Samantha The others walked through the potrait hole and wondered what has happened.

Refo and Ron argued while they were walking abscent-mindedly towards the Ravenclaw common room, they entered through the portrail hall and found Samantha and Dean, Samantha was not at all looking well.
"Err...hey! is every thing okay?" said Refo getting nearer to where Samantha was standing with her eyes full of tears.

Monica and Harry had finished eating lunch when they decided to go to the RAvenclaw Common room and work on Snapes essay. As they walked in they saw Dean, Ron, Refo and Samantha.

"Hey guys what is going on?" They asked seeing everyone standing around Samantha.
