A young witch walked into the Ravenclaw common room, and noticed no one. Her blonde hair was randomly curling and waving, all the way down to her hips. She had ruffled bangs, and two long, straight pieces of hair sitting at about shoulder length, unknotted. Her eyes were blue, like sapphires, and her cheeks were soft, and covered with white skin. She had already finished Snapes essay, about an hour or so ago. She wasn’t exactly popular with any house. She was humming a song to herself that sounded a lot like Two Hornpipes. ((It’s of PotC but she doesn’t know that.))

She had a book in her hands and sat down in front of the elf-lighted fireplace. She was in deep thought.

What if I do my essay in the Devils Snare before the Dream Recording… Then I’ll have time to go to the library and take out that muggle studies book on Bath Tubs. Then review for the History of Magic pop quiz, that I got tipped off by Professor Binns... Her thoughts continued.

SInce Samantha didn't seem like talking right away Monica and Harry went and sat down at the table closest to the fireplace to work on their essay for Snape. Monica took our her parchment and started to write. Harry had no trouble with this essay on Polyjuice potion. "Wow this feels great to actually be able to do this with no problem." he said. "I know. Is he getting soft?" she said.

"Only you would know." he answered giving her a sly look. "Very funny." she said as she finished her essay. "I am glad that is done." Monica said as she put away her belongings. Monica looked over at the fireplace and saw a young witch sitting there. Monica tapped Harry and pointed at her, "Do you know who that is?" she whispered. Harry looked and shook his head.

Monica got up and walked over to the witch, "Excuse me, My name is Monica or you can call me Nutz. Are you knew?" she asked.

Dan and Aleysha walked into the Ravenclaw Common Room, and saw Samantha looking rather down and Dean was holding onto her, and a new witch who neither of them had seen before.
"I'm going to see if Sam's ok," said Aleysha.
"And I will introduce you and I to the new girl!" said Dan.
He walked over to her and sat beside her.
"Hey there, are you new around here?" he asked. "I'm Dan by the way, and that girl over there with that other girl and guy is my girl Aleysha."

She looked up, and noticed the people strangely staring at her waiting for a reply…

“I’m May…” She started quietly, “May Skeeter.” She smiled oddly, she waasn't exactly socal, with other students.

Her mother was Rita Skeeter, thus this where she got half of her looks from. Her mother and her muggle-born-father were divorced. She brushed her long golden hair out of her face, so you could see her sapphire eyes clearly.

Samantha told the other's what has happened with her father being bitten by a posoinous snake and died ten minutes after her mother spoke to her in the fire. Samantha wants to go and see her mother but her mother has refused. She wants Samantha to stay at Hogwarts. Dean told the rest of group that he will look after her just like Samantha's mother told him too. Samantha decided to excuse herself from the group and apologised and said that she would like to be alone for a while. So Samantha climbed out of the Portrait hole to take a walk outside by the lake to think things through. Dean said to the rest of the group that he best go with her. So Dean went out of the potrait hole and caught up with Samantha when She was walking out of the castle.

*By The Lake*
When Dean was walking beside Samantha he revealed his darkest ecret that he has never told anyone before. Dean revealed that he is actually adopted. His family got killed by Lucious Malfoy. Dean is really an only child. His real parents were magical, whereas his adoptive mother isn't. So Dean isn't muggle at all. So Dean knew what Samantha was going through. Samantha turned to him and said how did you cope with it? Dean replied that he has only just got over it. Samanta then said do you want to go back to the common room? Dean replied no not yet he wanted to make sure that Samantha's alright he wants to look after her and protect her.

An hour later after they talked alot they decided to return to the common room as it started to turn chilly and dark. It was 11pm so when they got back to the common room they decided to turn in so Dean kissed her good night and headed up to the boys dormitry and Samantha headed up to the girls dormitory.

[Accio Padfoot! Refo]

"Oh wish she will be okay" said Refo with dismally as she watched Samantha leave the common room.
Refo too has noticed the new girl, she smiled to herself as she remembered her own first day here.
"Heyya!" said Refo "my name is Refo, hope you enjoy your stay here, and if you didn't finish your Potions essay, you need to trust me very well, and do it right now.."she said "Oh just like am going to do" she muttered.
"you don't wanna drown in Snape's grudge!..I don't want to too" she said grabbing her Potions book.

Megan had left Cedric at the lake after some silly younger kids kept asking if they were a couple. She knew that Cedric had been blushing and she had started to so after saying no she decided to get away as fast as she could. She walked into the room as Sam and Dean were leaving. She noticed that Sam was really sad and looked at the others,"Is she okay? What happened?" she asked

"Well hello May nice to meet you. This is my boyfriend Harry." Monica said as Harry walked over to her. "Hi May." He said giving her a smile. "It sure is sad about Sam's dad isn't it." Harry said as Megan came over.

"Hi Megan. Oh Sam's dad was bitten by a poisonous snake and died like 10 min. ago. She wants to be with her mom but her mom wants her to stay her at Hogwarts." Monica said.

"Well May Skeeter it sure is nice to meet you." Monica said as she walked over to the chair to relax. Harry followed Monica, "Her last name is Skeeter?" he asked. "Yes." "She must be Rita's daughter." "I would guess so." Monica said.

Harry sat down in the chair with Monica.

"Oh thats horrible." Megan said when they told her about Sam. "Well if Dean's with her she's probably okay." She then turned to May,"Hi I haven't got to introduce myself I'm Megan Black." Suddenly a group of younger students walked by her giggling. Megan recognised them and said,"Oh god you all are Ravvies!" She glared at them and they ran away. She sat down in the closet chair and glared at the fire.

Monica and Harry looked at each other. "Hey Megan what is the matter?" Monica decided to ask seeing her glare at the fire.

"Uh it's those stupid little kids were annoying Cedric and me down at the lake. They kept bothering us and making kissy faces! I swear they are so annoying. We not even together!!" Megan said still glaring at the fire.

"They're just being kids," said Dan. "They might as well enjoy it while it lasts. Just ignore them anyway Megan."

In the Girls Dormitory Samantha didn't go to bed straight away, Samantha was sitting up in bed writing a letter to her mother asking when the funeral is going to be and if her dad is being buried or cremated. Once she finished her letter she went downstairs, walked out of the potrait hole and went to the owley to see snowy and get her to post the letter. As she was walking back from the owley she bumped into peeves who drenched her from head to foot with stink sap. Samantha then went back towards the ravenclaw common room peeves was following her and shouting nasty things about her father. Samantha then shouted at peeves by saying SHUT UP OR I WILL HEX YOU. Unfortunately she realised that her wand is back in the dormitary by her bed on the table. Samantha then shouted HELP ME SOMEONE ANYONE. then peeves hovvered there laughing and laughing at her. Samantha stood there crying her eyes out wanting someone to come and help her and comfort her too.
Dean got out of bed to go and see Samantha. But as he wasn't allowed in the girls dormitory he went downstairs and asked if Refo could go and get her. When Refo went and saw Samantha she said that she didn't want to be disturbed because she is writing a letter to her mother. So Refo came down and confirmed this with him, Dean then said who made up that rule it is so stupid. Ten minutes later Dean was talking with the others when he saw Samantha. Samantha said to the group that she is popping down to the owley, and she wants to be alone. So Dean let her go on her own. As All of the others were talking Aleysha said that she needed to go to the bathroom. So Aleysha went off through the potrait hole to go to the bathroom. As Aleysha was in the bathroom she heard peeves being horrible to a student and thought it was nothing. But when she heard Samantha shout at Peeves Aleysha ran out of the bathroom and got her wand out and shouted IMMOBILOUS and Peeves froze in midair. Aleysha went over to Samantha and asked her what happened, Samantha told her, then Aleysha put her arm round Samantha and said come on lets get back to the common room and clean you up. As Samantha and Aleysha went back to the common room Everyone looked round to see that Samantha is covered in stinksap and crying.
