((Sorry I haven't been on. This thread got big fast lol))
Before they could go to the Christmas festives in the Common Room Dumbledore wanted to see Dan to let him know that he doesn't have to go to his parent's place for Christmas which he was very relieved about.
Aleysha was waiting outside of Dumbledore's office for him. Dan walked out very happy.
"Wow you're in a good mood," said Aleysha.
Dan gave her a kiss and said, "Indeed I am, I don't have to spend the holidays with my family,"
"Oh Dan that's fantastic!" said Aleysha and she gave him a kiss in reture. "Come on, lets get to the Christmas party."
They got up to the Common Room and saw that everyone had started opening up presents.
"Hey! Sorry we're late, I had to see Dumbledore," said Dan.
He and Aleysha joined everyone else and Dan said, "Now lets open up some pressies!"
"I'll go get the ones from us, be back in a minute," said Aleysha as she went up to the dorm.

"Oh great. We were going to open up yours." Harry said as he pointed to the presents that Shanny, Charlie, Monica and Harry had given to Alyesha and Dan. "Now don't open up Aleysha's presents." Monica said as she noticed Dan gathering them all around him.

"I won't," said Dan as he grabbed the last box which was for him. "Geez, I'm not that bad."
Aleysha then came downstairs with the presents from herself and Dan and put them with all the rest.

Megan and Bill finally came back into the common room, taking their seats. Megan smiled seeing Dan and Aleysha were there now.
"Hey Aleysha and Dan!" Megan said as they opened their presents.

"Okay Dan and Aleysha start opening the gifts." Monica said with a smile. "Yeah we want to see what you got." Harry chimed in.
(Now I don't know if you read Shanny's first post. But you get to decide what she got you. I copied her and said the same thing.)

Shanny sat back as Hayden doozed. She was still gazing out watching the Christmas lights twinkle but she was heading off to la la land pretty fast. Charlie looked ot Monica who was still holding a very active and aggitated Gabriel. "You want me to take him?" He asked knowing his son always got cranky when it was time for bed.

Monica looked at Gabriel. "Oh I don't mind holding him." she said just as Gabriel lunged for the tree. Harry grabbed Gabriel just before he reached the tree. "I think he needs to sit on Uncle Harry's lap." he said.

they thanked Monica and HArry then said "Guys open the rest of your gifts from us a nice bow on top for each from me and cedric" she said smiling

"Okay, we will open our gifts." Monica said as she grabbed them from Roxy and Cedric. "Who wants to hold Gabriel while we open our gifts?" asked Harry as Gabriel took off Harry's glasses.

Charlie was holding his sides as he laughed at what torture his son was putting on his Uncle.
Shanny elbowed him playfully and said "You can put him on the floor, give him some old wrapping paper to play with and he'll love you forever." She said. She figured Gabriel had about 2 minutes before he crashed.
Charlie smiled as he accepted his gift from Roxy. "Wow a elementary lunch box?" He asked holding it up, it had a picture of a cookie and apple on the front. "Um I always wanted one," he said smiling.

Harry took his glasses back and handed Gabriel some wrapping paper. Sha nay-nay was right he was happy. Harry took his present from Monica. "Thanks guys." he said as he opened it up and saw a pair of slippers in the shape of a snitch. "Wow these are different." he said as he tried them on.
Monica just smiled as she looked at how the wings flapped up and down on the slippers. Monica couldn't wait to see what she was getting.

Shanny laughed at the lunch box and figured hers was going to be just as bad. She looked at the oddly shaped package in her lap and smiled. "Hmm, you never can tell" She switched arms so as to hold Hayden better and she unwrapped the gift. It was a "A battered base ball glove." She hadn't toched it figuring it was a portkey. "What is it?" she asked curiously, she hadn't had a honeymoon and was wondering where this trip might lead her.

"Oh boy." Monica said as she looked at the odd present Shanny had gotten. "I guess I better open mine next." Monica said as she started to unwrap the gift. Monica stared at the cauldron shaped hat. "Thanks guys." Monica said as Gabriel grabbed the hat from her and put it on his head.

"Your welome!!" she said as she saw her friends werid faces as they opened their gifts. Theyp picked them out together and Roxy was always told that the gifts people remembered were he ones that were so weird and odd but each gift meant something.

The hat was so big that it just swallowed Gabriel's head. "Oh my I think you have to wait a few years before you will be able to wear it." Monica said as she picked it up off of his head. Harry laughed. "Now I get to call you cauldron head." Harry said with a smile.
