"I can't...he just..." Chey shook her head she couldn't possibly talk to him. He hated her so much now, all she could do was cry and try to keep the gashing hole from spreading.

"Well, you can't stay up here and feeling guilty for the rest of your life," said Aleysha. "If you love Neville as much as you say you do, you'll go after him. Anyway I hate getting tied up into this sort of stuff, I'm going to ask Dan if he wants to go back to the ball and dance. I'll see you both later."
Then she left.

Chey wanted them to stay but there was no way to stop them. All she could do was stop the hole from spreading. The ends of the hole burned, like it was spreading by burning through her body. There was no way to stop it now.

Dan quickly got up off the couch when he saw Aleysha come down the dormintory steps.
"How is she?" Dan asked.
"Not so good," Aleysha replied. "I suggested to talk things over with Neville since it will make things a whole lot easier but she totally freaked out. Anyway, want to go back to the hall and dance with me? I mean, I'll only get to wear this dress once."
"Yeah sure," Dan replied with a smile.
They linked arms and walked out of the Common Room.

Chey curled up in a ball and tried her best not to think of Neville instead think of Edward. She went down to tell Jello to go get Edward for her, since he was her ex-boyfriend maybe he could help her.

"Cedric." I said coming up behind him. He was standing on the balcony that over looked the black forest.
"Hey you." He put me infrount of him so I could stand and look at the forest with him as he rapped his arms around me to keep me warm. "How is Chey?" He asked
"I dont know, its really hard to tell this time. I mean, all the other times they have always pulled through. They are ment to be, I know it; but there is so much drama and danger in their lives... I dont know if all that will be enough this time."
"I'm sure they will get through it like that have everyother year here. With friends like the ones they got, there is nothing they cant do."
*we stayed out there for a couple of hours just talking*

When Chey rolled back up into a ball she heard the door close "Edward?"
"Yes."
"Ok good."
"Is this how you were when I left?"
Chey nodded her head. The only difference was that it was worst then than now. Because Chey had given something very special to Neville(Not gonna say it) and that had made them closer tonight.

Dan and Aleysha made it back to the Great Hall, dancing to a really nice song together. They were having a really nice time, just dancing together in each others' arms until trouble came.
"Potter!" said Snape. "There you are!"
"What is it this time sir?" she asked.
"You, have been in my store cupboard again tonight, I know you have," he replied.
"What?!" she replied. "I've been with Dan all night! I haven't been anywhere near your office!"
"Don't lie to me Miss Potter, it won't get you anywhere!" he replied.
Dan then decided to step in.
"I'm sick and tired of you blaming everything on her!" he said. "She had nothing to do with your stupid store cupboard!"
"Potter takes after her father a little," Snape said. "Strutting about the castle as if she's completely innocent."
Dan really had enough and punched Snape in the face, making his nose bleed.
"We're really in for it now Dan," said Aleysha
"RUN!" he cried.
Dan and Aleysha bolted out of the Great Hall and past the balcony where Aimee and Cedric were, Snape was running after them.
"COME BACK HERE THE BOTH OF YOU!" he shouted.

Edward kneeled down to her eye level he was only inches from her face "Im sorry." Edward said
"Don't be it wasn't you who broke up with me tonight after..." Chey couldn't say it to him or anyone she didn't want it to get out of hand like it was now.

Dan and Aleysha kept on running, Snape didn't look like he was going to give up anytime soon. Aleysha was finding it very difficult to run in her shoes so she made them disappear and ran faster.
"We can't lose him!" said Dan.
"Yes we can," said Aleysha. Luckily she had her wand on her and tried cast the Disillusionment Charm on herself and Dan but Snape blocked it.
"Darn it! I forgot he could do Occlumency!" said Aleysha.
"Come on, we just have to put up with him," said Dan as they both slightly picked up the pace.

Edward moved his head closer to Chey's. Then he ever so lightly pressed his icey hard lips onto her warm soft lips. Chey immeadiatly pulled back stood up and ran to the window.

"What is going on?" I saw Harry, Aly and my brother running down the hall. "I got to go refuery!" I said. I ran down the hall in my dress.
*Snape had cornered Harry and Aly in a tight spot. Luckly I had finally caught up.*
"What... is going... on?" I said trying to catch my breath.
"Your little friends have been stealing from my store." Snape said
"Not this again." I said shaking my head
"This time I have proof." He said he pulled out a small hair clip with a red rose on it. "Ms Potter was wearing this the other day." he said
*I started to giggle*
"What?" He said. Aly started to giggle next. "What is it?!" He said
"Severus... thats my hair clip. I was going to let Aly borrow it tonight for the ball... but I lost it."
"So you were stealing from my store?" He asked
"No, dont you remember, you asked me during class to go get gilly wead for you." I said. I could not help it, I started to laugh. "Come on Severus, you are starting to make things up. Come on, lets get you to bed."
