Monica and Draco's Wedding

As Monica had finished the last of the invitations Draco walked in and helped her attach the invitations to the owls. "Well now that they are done we can get ready for my mum to visit." he said. "When is she do to arrive?" Monica asked.

"This afternoon." he answered. "Well I guess her invite may wind up back here." she said as the last of the owls left.



Draco cleaned up the invitation mess while Monica went to get her wedding planner book.

"Hey," said Dan as he walked into the room and sat down in a nearby chair. "Still doing wedding plans are we?"
"There you are Dan!" said Aleysha as she also walked in. "I knew you would be here annoying these two while they are planning for the most important day of their life!"
"Hey! I'm not being annoying!" Dan replied. "Am I guys?"

"MMm I don't know if I should answer that." Monica said with a smile.

"Hey." he said.

"I am only joking Dan." Monica said. "We are just getting ready for Mrs. Malfoy to stop by today." she said.

"Yeah she should be here shortly." Draco said as he took the book and put it down on the coffee table. "I have something I want to give you before she gets here." Draco said as he took Monica's hand.
"I know when I asked you to marry me I gave you a very small token of my love but I want to correct that now." "Oh but I love this ring." she said. "I know but it isn't the one I wanted for you. It was a very quick purchase. So don't interupt me, Monica will you marry me." Draco said as he took out the little box and gave it to Monica. She opened the small green velvet box and gasped.


"This is beautiful." she said as Draco took the old ring off and put the new one on. Monica jumped up and gave him a hug and kiss.

Megan walked into the house and smiled at Draco and Monica.
"Hey guys Congradts on the wedding!"
She walked over toward them and gave them both hugs,"I'm so happy for you two."

"Oh Thanks Megan." They said as they returned the hug.
"We hope you are going to be one of the bridesmaids." Monica said to Megan.

"Ouch, hey guys." I said walking into the room with Cedric. I was 5 months pregnant.

"Hey Aimee and Cedric." Monica said as they walked in to the house. "Wow we are having a party." Draco said. "And my mum is due any minute."

"Great! I would love to meet the woman that was stuck with you for 9 months." I said jokingly giving her a hug. "Hey can I get a glass of milk? Baby has been craving it."

The doorbell went off. Draco went over and answered the door. "Hey mum." he said giving his mother a hug. "Hello darling." she returned the hug. "Let me see her. Come here Monica." Mrs. Malfoy said walking over to Monica and giving her a hug and grabbing her hands. "Hello Mrs. Malfoy. It is...." "Oh call me mum. You are practically my daughter already." Cissy said as she noticed the engagement ring. "OH the ring is gorgeous." she said steering Monica into the living room.

Draco was walking behind them. "Mum we have a few guests here we would like you to meet." Draco said coming around to the other side of his mother. "This is Megan, Aly and her husband Dan, Aimee and her husband Cedric." he said. Cissy stood and looked at all the guests and smiled, "Hello everyone."

"Hello nice to meet you." Cedric said shaking her hand.

"I would get up and shake your hand... but as you can tell, it's going to take me a while to get up."

"Oh no problem," She bent down and shook my hand.

Cissy looked at everyone and said, "Well I am going to steal my soon to be daughter in law for a minute." She took Monica to the bedroom. "Oh you look so happy. I knew you and Draco would end up getting married." she said as she took my hand and looked at the ring. "Wow did you show him what you wanted?" she asked.
"No he surprised me with it today." I said looking at the ring. "Well I wanted to let you know that I have bought you something blue to wear on your wedding day. Plus I want you to wear these earrings that my mum passed down to me on my wedding day." Cissy said. "Oh mum. That is so sweet." I said as I took the items and gave her a hug.
Monica showed Cissy her wedding dress. "Oh he is going to be shocked when he sees you in that." Mum said admiring the dress. "Thanks." Monica said as she put the dress back in her secret compartment.

"Draco, can I have a glass of milk. The baby is craving it." I asked

"Yea sure, hold on, anybody else want anything?" He asked before he headed into the kitchen.

Draco brought out milk for Aimee and a variety of beverages for everyone else. "Here you go Aimee." Draco said as he handed her a tall glass of ice cold milk. "Hey thanks." she said as she took the glass and started to drink.

Cissy looked at Monica. "Mum you looked worried." Monica stated. "I am." "Why?"
Cissy got up and started to pace the floor. "I don't want Draco to know but his father is back. I am afraid that he will try to stop this wedding." she said. Monica walked over to her. "We will be okay. Draco will want to know." Monica said. "But I am afraid he will go looking for him." Cissy said.

"He would, but we will deal with that later." Monica said. They walked back out to the living room.

"Well I look who decided to join us." Draco said giving Monica a kiss and mum a hug.

"I'm going to bring a box of tissues to this wedding," said Dan. "I'm no good at weddings, they make me cry."
"You're so cute Dan," said Aleysha, and she held onto his hand.
They had to bring their kids with them because they were unable to get a babysitter.
"Sweetheart, I think one of the kids have-"
"Yes I know Dan, I will go change her," Aleysha replied.

Monica sat down on the sofa with Draco and his mum.

"Well I think I will need tissues too." Said Mrs. Malfoy. "I have been waiting for this day since they met." she continued.
