Overall View of the final book. Once your'e finished it all of course I think it was absulotuely without a shadow of a doubt the best thing I have ever read in my entire life. I read it within 24 hours of having in my hands. I barely have words to describe it, I'm practically speechless, nothing will ever come close to how amazing the story was. So sad its over but it was soooo amazing I'm still glowing from being in its presence. 100 out of 5

I loved it! It has to be my favorite (minus the shippings... I hated those). I read it in less than 24 hours, I didn't go to sleep until I knew I wouldn't be able to stay awake (and I figured I could appreciate it more when I was more awake). When I woke up, I did nothing before finishing it. I didn't even move. It had me somewhere between laughing and crying in the last few chapters. My friend that was with me freaked out a bit because of it. (I was laughing at my stupidity for crying so much and I couldn't stop doing either.)
I can't even begin to think of a number high enough... Haha.

Great book. It answers a lot of questions but still manages to raise other questions and theories too. Will post them when I've re-read it again.
JK did a stirling job. It must have been a difficult book to write. However, it does leave it open for her to write other Hogwarts books in the future if she wants, either writing about the next generation or delving back into the past. Grindleweld would be a fascinating subject for a book, don't you think?
Anyways, I'm off to re-read it again more slowly this time. Brilliant!

absolutely positively, the best book i have ever read in my life. and i have read some pretty good books! the deaths were absolutely tragic and i think i cried about a trillion times (my bins up to spilling point from tissues), but hands down, a terrific book. it answered almost every question i had ever thought of.
but i really wanted to know whether harry ever ended up becoming an auror. did he, ron and hermione get a chance to go back to school, get their NEWTS and get a decent job? hmmmm.

Blimey indeed is what I'm thinking. I think the book was simply fantastic, hands-down wonderfully created! Although, the chapters that they were hiding seemed a bit out of JK's style... she usually gets a good suspense going and quickly lets you know what it is. Those chapters of the trio hiding in woods and such were a bit bland, but I see the reason in doing so. Either way, I give it a 10, 000 out of 5. Such a wonderful, wonderful book.

OMG!!!!!!
That was by far the BEST Harry Potter book EVER!! There is no way in the future of the universe that they are goign to be able to make qa movie of that book and do it justice. I swear! It was PUUUURRRRFECT!
I loved every single twist and turn. I'm not a weepy person, but I was extremely close to shedding a tear when our red-headed guy died (not Ron! he didn't die) and when it looked like my dread would come true for sure!! I was like freaking out, and Mom was like, "Harry is not going to die! I think he's going to beat Voldemort and then become the headmaster in place of Dumbledorf!" (And yes, she said Dumbledorf).
This book absolutely positively deserves more than five!

Okay I just finished the book. If I go by hours I could never tell how long I read for. I know I didn't start it at midnight due to the fact that I was still reading HBP (2nd time). I read this book more slowly then I have the others just because I wanted to savor it and understand it as I was reading it. I am not someone that can read a book fast and pretend to understand it. I only read one chapter at around 2am on Fri/Sat. I was falling asleep so I knew it would be a terrible read if I continued. I rated the book greater then 5. It is the best book written in this series. I laughed, cried, screamed, and learned as Harry learned. I didn't want to stop reading the book but I had to do work around the house. I always knew in my heart that Harry had a piece of Voldemort in him.
I know I will read this series over and over again..JK ROWLING DID A FANTASTIC JOB!!

frankly, I was tempted to give it four. But I gave it over 5. After I read Jane's post, I paused & thoght about it for a second. I had finished the book in two days. That is a speed record I had set. I think I'm still upset about Sirius(I dunno why. After months of stubborn denial of his death, I really started accepting the fact that it was slightly far fetched that he was coming back. But it's maybe due to the fact that I had spotted the words "Sirius did not smile." when I was skimming, & it raised my hopes faster than anything could. I couldn't concentrate on what I was reading for about an hour, & had to repeat the pages I flipped through thinking why he wasn't smiling. The **swear*rule*broken** turned out tobe his 11-year-old self!)
So, I love the book. & I think it's, by far, the best thing I've ever read. Folloed immediately by Order of the Phoenix, & the rest of the seriese.

i loved loved loved loved loved loved loved loved loved loved loved it. i don't know what words to use to describe how amazing it was but it was way more than just plain amazing. I actually started crying when certain people died. This book answers so many questions but i still feel like i'm missing something. I was sad at the end when i started thinking "this is it. this is the last book." i really hope she continues either with the next generation or the marauders era...

I know I loved it too. I cried when every one started dieing. There are so many words to describe this book but it would make this post extremely long. As I was reading the book I kept feeling sad and was crying knowing that I would have hopefully most of my questions answered and that I would have no more Harry to read about. I want to read the book again but I am afraid to start reading it again.
I really have to say Thank You to J.K. Rowling for such a wonderfully written story.
