I'm sure most of you will disagree, but i found most of the book over-centralized on Dumbledore's life. It was terribly interesting (oxymoron XD) but i dunno, i wish she'd added a part where he talked to the portrait or something.

She wouldnt have put it in the book if it wasnt important. Dumbledore was an important figure in Harrys life the fact that he didnt die out of Harrys life when he died was...idk I guess a way to show Harry that thought he may have doubted Dumbledore, he was a great man that did love Harry.
Harry did talk to the Portrat in the end. He was in Dumbledores office and he talked to it. He asked for one last piece of advice.

I feel that the book centralized around Harry learning more about the Greatest Wizard that he looked up to. So in essence it centered around Harry and Dumbledore. Harry grew up so much in this book. He had the whole wizarding world on his shoulders and handled it like a man.

i don't feel like it was centralized around dumbledore, more like it was centralized on harry learning about dumbledore's past. it sort of ties everything together.

Yes I agree the book was around Harry and Dumbledore. Because Harry has the wizardary world resting on his shoulders like Monica said and Dumbledore had just died and that effected a lot of people. I thought it was great though we get to learn all of these things about him I loved it. But that Rita Skeeter!!!! I knew she would do something after Dumbledore's death, because if she published that book when he was alive Rita would be shaking in her boots.
