I don't know if any one else noticed the crushes going on in this movie.
I loved the way Hermione and Ron talked and joked. You could see the love starting to take shape in their relationship.
I also noticed how Ginny was always watching Harry.
ON the bridge when they are talking about where to have the meeting and Hermione states that one good thing came out of that meeting at Hogs Head. And Harry asks what. When Hermione says Cho couldn't keep her eyes on you. Ginny's face changed. You could see she didn't think that was a good thing. Just before Harry and Cho kissed Ginny was looking back at Harry and knowing that he was staying to talk to Cho. You could see the hurt look on her face.
Those are the signs of Love in the Air that I noticed.

I have been a Harry/Hermionie shipper for most of my Harry Potter days, but now seeing how Hermionie and Ron acted towards each other in the movie made me lean more towards the Ron/Hermionie side.

I have always felt that Harry and Hermione were like brother and sister nothing more. Ron was always awkward around her. I could see it in the Chamber of Secrets. She hugged Harry because that is the way they always treated each other. But she just shook Ron's hand cause Ron was afraid that if he hugged her his true feeling would show.

I noticed that "love was in the air" but I don't know if I particularity liked it. I think the ron/hermione awkwardness is fit in the movie... but the ginny/harry foreshadowing didn't fit for me... To me it was too early to hint at Ginny and Harry, because isn't she more into other guys at this time, especially with Dean in the beginning of the 6th book?
I mean all of us have read the 6th book and know what happens with Ginny and Harry, and so it was ok with me that they had it in the movie, but looking at the book it shouldn't fit.

That is true about it being different in the book. I just think they are changing it a little for the movies. Since this really isn't about Harry's or Ron's love life. I think they have to foreshadow it otherwise they would have to include all the boys that Ginny dates. That is one thing I did when I watched it the first time. I compared it too much to the book and wasn't happy. Then when I watched it again, again, and again I watched as if it were just a movie and enjoyed it alot more.
I have realized that with these movies you can't judge them by the books because then you will fell jilted on some of the stuff.

Yeah I saw Ginny's face change, especially on the bridge scene.
And there was definately a heap of chemistry between Ron and Hermione, you even see Harry pick up on it alot and smile which I love. And Rons voice go all squeeky trying to tell Grawp to leave Hermione alone, awwwwww.

I even loved it when Harry tells her I think you have an admirer. I laughed each time I watched it.

After finishing re-reading the 6th book, I take kinda of tack back what I said about not liking Ginny/Harry foreshadowing. I had forgotten that at the very end we find out that Ginny actually did really like Harry all along. So looking from a book view it is more understandable.
I see what you are saying nutz, and I do really need to think of the movie more separate from the book, and realizing that I really like the "love is in the air"
