Sirius... Ok when cedric died= FLYING OMFG Sirius= Suddenly stopped moving and sucked into veil? Dumbledore= FLYING THROUGH THE AIR OMFG Ok was sirius siriusly hit with the avada kedavra in the book? Not likely... In the movie? Yep... Ok someone tell me please wth is going on? He got sucked up in the veil. Wait a couple of years he'll walk out and be like wtf? Me too. I yelled out when I saw that he was hit with Avada Kedavra (when he WAS NOT in the book). Luckily we were at the drive in.

I really liked that scene though in the movie... I didn't notice that it was the Avada Kedavra curse but I liked that it was silenced to me that was more dramatic and seemed to be put into slow motion, like I just wanted to see Harry reach out and grab him so that he wouldn't actually go through the veil. I know, I know not likely that Sirius survives but I was so hoping that he still would.

I know when I watched it and realized she had said the Avada Kedavra curse I couldn't believe it. I know that in the book we were never really told what spell it was just that another jet of light hit him square in the chest. We all assumed it was the same as the spell that was casted with the red light (I think.) It does settle it that he is dead.

yea, if sirius was hit with the avada kedavra, he should not have FLEW back like that. he should have just dropped dead. Blunt, but true.

i just assumed that he got hit by a stunning spell because the sell was red, which at the time of reading it, sort of gave me a little hope to sirius being alive. but in the movie, he was pushed into the veil after being hit with the AK curse. and i knew that if sirius really was alive that jk would've said "no it has to be a stunning spell". sooo yeahhhh that really depressed me....

I loved the slow mo thing. It made it so much more dramatic. I almost cried when Remus had to hold him back and when Harry was screaming. So intense! Haha but still. She never (That I have heard) said what the curse was and like Monica said we assumed it wasn't Avada Kedavra. I don't know but i liked, it was just how I pictured it. Sadly.

I know that Sirius will die but I was really shocked when I saw him sucked into veil. I want Sirius be alive again!

I've said this before and I'll say it again....in the book, JKR specifically writes that Sirius was dead BEFORE he fell back through the Veil. The momentum of Bellatrix's curse flung him backwards.
I thought it was extremely well done in the movie. It is one of the biggest scenes in the whole series of books and it was excellent to see Gary Oldman on fine form.

Oh my god, I cried like a dang baby during the movie. I knew it was going to happen because of the book, so I brought tissues! lol But my face was red and nose was stuffy, and my eyes were puffy. I loved Sirius, and the fact that Gary Oldman was playing him, made it even worst. When I found out that Gary was going to play Sirius Black in PoA I had the giggles everytime someone brought it up. Now I cry everytime someone brings it up. OMG! Rosemary! You are so funny! He gets sucked into Narnia!!! CLASSIC!! Love it! Great Idea! I hope J.K is listening!!!! What kind of a twist would that be?!?! The reason I love Gary SSSSOOOO MUCH!!
