It has been a few months down since Dan proposed to Aleysha on New Year's Eve and were now wanting to throw an engagement party in the Great Hall so everyone could be apart of the celebrations. They were about to leave the Ravenclaw Common Room to ask Dumbledore if it was all right for them to do that.
"Well guys, we're off to Dumbledore's office to talk about our engagement party," said Dan as they got off the couch.

Harry and Monica were sitting in the Ravenclaw common room looking over catalogs of linens for their new living quarters. "Okay guys, good luck." Harry said as he turned the pages in the Linens for newlyweds catalog.

Sam and Seamus were in the Ravenclaw common room playing wizard chess. Sam just beat Seamus. He demanded a rematch so Sam said fine. So then they decided to have another game. Sam was wondering when Seamus was going to propose to her as they have been together for three and half years.

They arrived at Dumbledore's office in no time at all. Dan said the password and the gargoyle moved and the stairs appeared for his office. They stepped up onto them and walked over to the office door and knocked.
The door magically open and Dumbledore was standing besides Fawkes.
"Ah, Daniel and Aleysha, yes I was expecting you both," he said.
"Yeah, we came here to talk to your about our engagement party," said Dan as they both walked inside.
"Ah yes, I don't believe I have congratulated you both yet. Well, congratulations."
"Thanks Dumbledore," Aleysha replied with a smile.
"So, what is it about your engagement party you are wanting to discuss?"
"Oh, um, we were wondering if we could use the Great Hall, and let everyone attend to celebrate," said Dan.
Dumbledore smiled and said, "Of course, sounds like a grand idea. How about we make it this Saturday night?"
Dan and Aleysha both looked at each other, then Aleysha looked back at Dumbledore and said, "Great! Saturday night it is."
"I'll notify the staff at once," he said.

Roxy and Cedric just wakled down the stairs. Cedric was buttoning his shirt and she said "aww did Aly and Dan already leave?" she said to Monica and harry

"Yeah they left a little while ago. I think Dumbledore will let them have the party." Monica said as she closed the catalog and stretched her legs.

Seamus said do you want to go and walk by the lake?. Sam said yeah sure lets go. Seamus grabbed her hand to hold then they both walked out of the commo room and headed down to the lake.

Dan and Aleysha went to make their way back to the Common Room to tell everyone the good news. Along the way they bumped into Sam and Seamus.
"Hey guys!" said Aleysha. "Guess what? Dumbledore said yes about our engagement party!"

"Really? your serious thats awesome when is it. we gotta get party dresses" she said smiling. Then cedric said "Yeah sure dress shopping again I am so excited for that part ut the party I am estatic about'' he said smiling.

"Hahaha! Oh Cedric admit it you love it," said Aleysha. "We'll have to go out and get new dresses. Party's this Saturday night so we've got a few days to get ourselves a new dress."

'' Actually I dont think you could get any straight man to admit to that" Cedric said then Roxy said "He actually is horrible about it, cant pick out a decent outfit to save his life poor dear. Well I am better than he is, so when are we shopping?"

"That is great Aly and Dan." Harry said as Monica closed the catalogs. "Yes let us know when you want to go shopping, I don't want to wait too long cause then we will be rushing to find dresses." Monica said.

"Well, in that case, I don't think we're doing anything right now," said Aleysha. "And plus we don't want to leave it too late, so, why don't we go shopping now?"
"And Cedric, Harry Seamus and me will go down to the pub while you girls go nuts!" said Dan.
"I don't think so young man," said Aleysha. "You need a new white shirt, you completely destroyed your last one by getting into a fight with some Ravenclaw seventh year."

Sam and Seamus both said thats great you two count us in we will definately be there. Sam said ohh Shopping yeah lets go. Sam said to Seamus we will go for a walk around the lake after dinner ok?. Seamus said yeah sure that would be fine hon and kissed her on the cheek.
