Hey guys! (WOO! I'm back! Which I may explain in this post? IDK yet.) Has anyone else read the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan? I confess that I'm still only on the 4th book (currently, I'm taking a break to read Jane Austen's Mansfield Park). I am completely captured by the series. Lan is my favorite, oddly enough... and Mat gets on my nerves more than anything (though he's still highly awesome.) Doesn't anyone else have opinions/thoughts/comments? If you haven't read it, I reccomend it. It's really good.
As to me being back (and I know this has nothing to do with the subject... but I don't want to start a new thread just to say this), I was having a little difficulty with my family as well as school (I got majorly stressed out the last few weeks... I was a zombie... almost literally.) Now, I'm better and my family's doing better (actually, we're in the middle of moving, which I'm excited about! Here at my mom's, we're moving into a house we just bought, and at my dad's we're also moving into a new house.) I expect to be on a lot more than I have been previously *cringes at the thought of not being on* I am so sorry to have been missing for so long, though I don't think anyone missed me too much. =p

I MISSED YOU LEIGH!!! *mwah!*
No I haven't ever heard of that book. Robert Jordan huh?? I'll have to check it out. What is the book about?? Is it fantasy like Harry Potter, like Twilight or whatever. I'm always up for reading something new.

Haha. Aimee, they are fantasy, though quite unlike HP or Twilight. My English teacher (best teacher ever!) suggested that I read them. The plot line's really complicated, and it's taking me longer to read through these than it does normally. Basically, it's about these three guys in this village (Rand, Mat, and Perrin) and they get attacked by these Trollocs (kinda like trolls...) An Aes Sedai (person who wields magic, or the "One Power") saves them all and tells them that they are ta'veren, or people who the Wheel of Time weaves all surrounding life-threads around, and that the Trollocs attacked the village because they were after them. So, those three, Nynaeve (the Village Wisdom), and Egwene (who is kinda Rand's betrothed, but not really?) go with the Aes Sedai and her Warder. Anyway, Rand turns out to be the Dragon Reborn, which is this huge thing. The books are about all the stuff that they do (it doesn't always follow Rand, because all of them are important.) That kind of sums it up... but it'd be really hard to put all of it in a post. Supposedly, it's a lot like LotR... but I really don't see that? (Especially as I've never been interested in LotR.)

I've missed everyone too. Yes, Roxy, I have met you before. =p
