A Harry Potter/Nerdfighter Secret Project

Okay, so this is somewhat off topic, which is why I'm posting it here... but it does have to do with Harry Potter.

So I belong to a community of people who call themselves Nerdfighters. We do a lot of secret projects, like taking over YouTube to promote various organizations, promote literacy, strive to be "green", decrease WorldSuck by doing acts of kindness, being awesome, and in general just having fun. (BTW, Nerdfighter, as in we fight for Nerds/Nerdiness. I'm a Harry Potter/Literature/Pokemon/Writing Nerdfighter. [there's actually more to that, but it's long...)

It's really funny and cool. If you want to subscribe to them, that would be awesome, since we are trying to recruit more Nerdfighters so we can PWN Oprah.

ANYWAY!

So, Hank Green, one of the vlogbrothers, does songs. Just before DH, he wrote a song called "Accio Deathly Hallows" that actually made the front page of YouTube. To mark the anniversary, he wrote a song about wanting a book eight. It's hilarious, and I think you all will really like it. You can find it here:

The very beginning is a short collab of the first song.

One of the nerdfighters on the Ning decided that we should get it spread around and aim for J. K. Rowling herself to see it. Even if you're not a Nerdfighter, I think it would be cool as a Harry Potter fan.

And if you do want to become a Nerdfighter, that's totally cool. A lot of people from the Wrock bands are Nerdfighters (and have their own collab channels!) Check out the Vlogbrothers and the Ning. And, of course, you can always ask me stuff.

I love being a nerdfighter. The Ning (and My Pants [our forum]) is amazing, generally, because everyone is so open-minded and respectful of other peoples' thoughts. We are also constantly trying to find ways to help people in need, which makes me feel pretty good.
It's all just... yeah... I love it. =) Haha.

Yes it is. I find myself cracking up when my mom say; in my pants. I watched a few of the first ones, and I plan on watching them all eventually.

Now I am off to go fiddle with my page and see why I cannot log in on Myspace anymore.
