For all of us who still have to go to school [sucks don't it?], we dread the end of summer. For some of us it is sooner than others. When do you start school again?

I am one of those unlucky few. I start on Monday. And it starts ten minutes earlier and last ten minutes longer. The only upside is that we have four fewer days then last year...

Oh and we can't take backpacks into class. So I basically spent hours trying to win this tote bag for nothing! And I won it too! So all in all, it sucks.

Oh yes it most defiantly sucks, but thank god this is my junior year ^_^ My school district basically hates us and we went back August 6th and I just *barely* survived my first full week. I don't even have my two favorite teachers . The only good thing is my French class.

Why do they not allow backpacks?

Well my kids go back on September 2nd. My son is still trying to work out his courses. He wants to take 17 credits and they sent his courses today and they only gave him 3 of the courses he wants. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. They game him 2 that he already took. His languages weren't even there. So now I have to wait until Monday to do something about them. Ugh....

I think the reason they don't allow backpacks is because of them having zippers and people could hid things in them.

Oh my God I'm so jealous of your kids Monica lol. I have never began that late . Oh my school does that too. We have Chemistry this year and my friend for some reason had our last science class Earth Space Science even though she passed it both semesters.

Yeah now that I think about it that sounds like a reasonable rule. My school probably doesn't have that rule cause we are so small and almost everyone wears no zipper totes/messenger bags that you could just look down in to see. Also, I'm not kidding about it being small. There are only 700/750 kids at my high school (most consisting of sophomores and freshman) and my school is like 40 minutes away from where I live.

I have you beat on small. Only about 200 here. They said it was because of constant cell phone abuse. Phones were going off in class twenty four seven.

For K-5 I started in September, but since I moved I start earlier. Blah. We had to re-sign up for classes when we registered, despite signing up at the end of last year.

I went to open house with my brother and decided to look at one of my class rooms, math and OMG that was bad. She painted the wall this ugly puky pink-ish tan-ish color. [click]

Then they painted the rectangle blocks to make shapes like a Z or sideways W in Green, Red, Navy Blue, Light Pink and purple. It is horrible. X-[.

i am going to be in my senior year so I am preetty much extremely excited. we are the oldest ones but they do allow backoacks in our class as long as the teachers dont see pur phnoes they really dont care.


i took my hard classes already so this year is all weightt training and injury care and personal finace!


we start on tuesday except for the freshman and new people who start monday

My kids have always started in September. I don't know why. I even remember starting in September when I was in school.

Well I know there are going to be mistakes but he wants 17 credits total and they only gave him 7.5 credits. He likes to keep busy and be challenged. I will be on the phone on Monday while watching him play a few soccer games.

I just hope I can get this straightened out before Sept. 2..

I hope everyone has a great school year and I have some advice:

Remember these years, enjoy them but don't slack off. You will miss being in school when you get older....

Today was okay. I had Spanglish. Or Spanish. lol.

I learned some new things, but I cannot remember anything by Nada Mucho; Nothing much. Only things I already knew I remember. We get spanish names instead of our normal and I was thinking of Grace. But I don't know...

We already have Algebra HW. Bleh.
