I think Fawkes could play an important roll in the last book. I have always wonder why Dumbledore's hand was all shriveled up after he put the ring on. Why didn't he let Fawkes heal the wound? I have many ideas as to why he didn't get it healed but I don't know which one I like more.
I'm sorry if that was off topic but just thought of that.

don't you remember???the ring had a dark curse on it,but fawkes can't cure dark curses only wounds....although i thouight that too
