I am so glad I've been a fan since the beginning, it's been amazing. Of course, all good things must come to an end, and that is what Harry Potter is doing. It makes me sad, but also happy at the same time, because we will finally get to know how everything ends. We do have the movies left, but even so, I find that I like the books better.

Fortunately, we can find other series we like (maybe not as well). I am currently awaiting the release of the third of the Inheritance Trilogy, and the third book in the Twilight series. =) Harry Potter will always be my favorite no matter what comes along, though. =)

Sorry to say that I wasn't a fan when the books first came out. I became a fan when the movie was being released. I read the book and became a fan. An Obsessive fan at that. I have not read the Inheritance trilogy yet. I did start Eragon but only read the 1st chapter. It seem interesting but am finishing OotP first then HBP. Who is the author of the Twilight Series?

Well thanks for the compliments I am glad that I did start being obsessed about after the 2nd book and close to the release to the 3rd book of the hp series. I have really enjoyed theorizing and obsessing with all of the ideas.

I am with you Leigh on waiting for other series, specifically the Twilight series, like you, and to answer your question nutz, the author of the the Twilight series is Stephenie Meyer.

Yep, Stephenie Meyer. I haven't checked her site to see if they're making a movie out of Twilight yet. That would be awesome.

I think it definitely has its ups and downs. I mean on the one side, it's exciting not knowing what will happen and coming up with all these theories. But on the other hand, everyone is practically pulling their hair out over the fact that Harry could possibly die.

it's great,but if it's one of thoose movies where the trailer is great but the movie sucks,i guess that's when it's bad.

Probably, because once you have and read it then its all over, your cant erase it from your mind, you can only really read it for the first time, its always re-reading it after that...kind depressing really.

And making all the theories is great, as we can all come here to discuss our thoughts, once the series is over then there will be no more theories....then again there may be some but we will never EVER know the answer tot hose which is almost worse.

Oh now I'm all depressed.
