do any of you think Harry will die in the 7th book? J.K.Rowling said she was thinking of making Harry die. I don't think Harry will die!!! Do you?

Who do you think will die if Harry doesn't? If Harry doesn't die, I think Voldemort will die.

I think that both Harry and Voldemort are going to die along with many other characters. This is going to be a very sad book. I will need plenty of tissues that is for certain.

I totally agree with you nutz4hpotter6, Harry is gonna die and take Voldemort with him. Its gonna be soooo sad but its the only way it can end. I hope Harry chooses to become a ghost though, I still stanbd by my thought that he will be the new Gryffindor house Ghost, that would be soo cool, he'd die, save the world from voldemort but get to stay at what he sees as his home forever....its a way of ending it without actaully ending it. of course, he could die and go see his parents, sirius and dumbledore, thats good isnt it ? (and yes I know I'm conflicting by saying dumbledore is dead, I think he isnt, I'm just still in denial) LOL

I like your explanation for Harry to become a ghost. Yes that would be something he would want to live at the place he always felt at home. I just have one question didn't Nearly Headless Nick say that those who are afraid of death choose to be a ghost? I don't know if that is exactly what he said. Do you think Harry is afraid of dying? I don't know.

I understand about contradicting yourself. I do that at times too. I can see both points that you made.

I don't think Harry's that type of person who would be afraid of death since he's been close to it many times as well. He probably wants to die if he takes Voldemort down with him, protecting the ones he cares about without being in the fear of being killed anymore.

Well, as for Harry being a ghost, I dont think Harry will fear death to become one, not that I didn't think of it, but guess it is not bound to happene, still, who knows?!

People that might die..emm..I've just read yesterday on the "Mugglenet newsletters" they send me every week that JK has just killed two other charecters she wasn't intending to kill, now that's getting really creepy, am afraid Remus will die, I don't want him to.
Lot's of people are saying it's Hagrid, but as far as I know, there are now more than four people to die in the DH, who?!

Ahh! No, Harry shouldn't die! I shall go into deep denial and depression if he does. I'm not giving up hope yet, because I like feeling like Harry will live (even if it's a lie to myself.)

Because JKR has finished DH, Harry could be dead at this very moment, and we don't know it.

I'll be sure to bring a few packs of tissues (and a big bag to keep said packs in!) because I know I will be crying during the entire party.

OH Leigh why did you say that about Harry. Now I am tearing up. That is so true. She has finished the book and Harry could very well be dead. I will definately need to bring tissues with me too.

THe only one who knows is JK. HOw she can keep quiet I don't know. I would be talking to someone about it.

If Harry does die, I know I'll cry even more during the 7th movie because Dan would have to act dead! ((Well, I'm assuming that he's going to be in it, he is doing movie 6 so I can't see why he won't do movie 7))

I know I am holding out hope too Aly that Harry is still alive. He will be alive until I read the last book. I too hope that he is in the last movie. If he isn't I think it would be stupid on the producers and directors to get new main actors. I think it is all just publicity.

I hope you are right Leigh about them staying. I would be very upset if they left. I just read something on the Snitch about Dan being under contract for the last two movies but WB is waiting to see what happens with Dan doing the play. They don't want to replace him because his is so popular.

No you are not being selfish. I would have done the same thing. I want to think that he is still alive but without the scar.
