I guess as the time for the release gets closer and closer, I was just wondering what everyone will be doing for the release of the 7th book.
Whether you might be attending a release party at midnight at your local book store or waiting until your ordered book arrives in the mail or even waiting until the crazy rush dies down to pick up you book, I think it might be interesting just to talk about what you will be doing when you receive the book in your hands.
Also will you start right away with reading the book? Will you never stop reading until you finish or prolong the book by reading slowly and taking it all in?

Well to start off with I will be attending the midnight party at Barnes and Noble. I went to one for the HBP book. I had a wonderful time. I kind of wish that I had ordered my book through Borders instead because they have so much Harry Potter stuff. I think I will start reading the book right away because if I don't I will be bound to hear something about the book before I read it and will then be upset. I know that once I start reading the book I will not be on here just in case there are some spoilers. Now to your last question. I don't know if I will read if non stop. I want to be able to read the book and understand it. I may read it once really fast and then read it again more slowly. It sometimes depends on my mood at the time.
I loved the questions and can't wait to read what everyone else's plans are for this book. I noticed you didn't answer your questions Mary.

oh thanks for reminding me nutz that I didn't answer my own questions... well I had planned to go to my local bookstore at midnight to get my book. I had reserved my book and everything but.... it actually turns out that I will be on vacation and what makes it difficult is that I will not even be in an English speaking country, I will be in Japan, and so I will not be able to get the last harry potter book immediately. When I found out that I was going to be on vacation I was quite shocked that I would have to wait a couple of weeks to get the book... but I am hoping though maybe I will find it in English somewhere in Japan... though maybe at least at the airport or I will wait until I am in Hawaii where I know I can get it in English.
So thats my story and I won't be on the internet for long while since I won't have the book for awhile. lol
But I guess when I get the book I will start it immediately but I will go at a moderate pace reading it whenever I have a free moment.

Oh wow Mary. Have a great vacation. I may not be here either for the book release. It all depends on how my son's baseball team does tonight. They have states the weekend. I told my husband that I really wanted the book so I may still be going but won't know now until the end of this week.

oh thanks I hope I do have a good vacation, I leave tomorrow and will be gone for 17 days so it will be quite some time before I get to come on here and discuss all that happened in the 7th book. I hope everyone receives the book as soon as possible and enjoys every minute and every word that they read!

I'm still undecided. I want to go into the city as I see on the news with previous book that its always fabulous but then again I would like to go to my closest store and get it right away, local stores wont have queues as long. But since this is the last book, it would be the last time to go to a big event like this. Oh who knows, I'll probably be up at 5am on Saturday morning and still not have decided....LOL All the excitement has made it very difficult for me to decide on anything.
Enjoy your vacation Mary and everyone, enjoy getting the book, however you decide to get it.
