What do you think of the newly realeased OOTP poster ? click for the larger versionI know the movie and storyline is dark but come on...I love the good side, the poster just of voldemort, why give him the power to get the whole poster to himeself....it should be a poster of the DA or the shelves with the glass orbs in the MOM with a close up of harrys prophecy, or even dumbledore and voldemort in the foyer of the MOM, now that would be cool.

I put not sure because I like it but I don't love it. I think it is interesting. I am sure there are going to be more posters coming out. I guess for those fans that have not read the books they may like the poster.
I just saw a commercial for OotP on ABC Family. They will be showing the first 3 movies and have some behind the scenes look at OotP. I can't wait. The commercial looks so good.

It's a good poster for a teaser. It shows that voldemort is back and powerful. I hope the proper one is of D.A.

You make a good point Pureblood. Alot of the younger fans have grown up with Harry Potter and magic spells and stuff won't bring them in to the thearter. I like it the more I look at it.

I agree with Jane but I also agree with Pureblood lol.
I think the poster's great! It might lure people into the movies wondering how Voldemort will "Take everything" since the poster says YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING....

I think it is brilliant i think they did voldermolt to show that he is back and it will make people want to go and see the movie. for the last four movies they have had the trio on there so i think it should be time to have Harry's worst enemy on the poster. it is more interesting too. when i watched the interview with Dan on newsround he said this film is more for teenagers and adults. Adults will find the poster very appealing because if it had the trio on there they will think it is for kids and not for them. whereas with voldermolt on the poster then i think it will probably make them want to watch it. i think they should increase the age rating to 12 because it is meant to be more darker and scarier. why are they doing it a pg if it is aimed at teenagers and adults? I think it is aimed at teenagers and adults because of the characters are growing up into young mature adults and also because of the romance that is brewing from harry potter 5 to 7. do you agree?. (sorry i waffle on a lot I get carried away when there is a topic about harry potter.) :) :) :)

You make a good point Sam. I do like the picture plus I am an adult. I can see the poster luring more adults into the movie.
I don't think this movie has been rated yet because on the website it states Not yet Rated. I think it should have a PG13 movie like GoF. The next rating would be R here in the US and I think that would be to high but I could be wrong. Even if it got an R rating you know parents would take their children to see it.

I love it! It gives you the dark feeling that you (at least I got it) get when you read the book. I mean dark in a good way, just to clarify!

Yeah Tessa good point about feeling the darkness that is in the book. I kind of hope that this is the poster or even if they have Voldemort some where on the poster would be better then just the trio or the DA.

I had absolutely loved the poster when it came out. It's sooooo creepy! This "You will lose everything.." quote (Which is apparently from the movie, not the book) is so good, & gives out the impression of very very dark events unfolding in the movie. Which, to be honest, is what happens. >(. I always thought there will be more posters. The poster is good, but I wish there will be more posters. I loved the idea Jane suggested abotu the Hall of Prophecies!

Yeah, it's very very nice, attracts the movie fans who don't read the book, they know what they are doing (er..do they really?!) I liked the poster, but it would have been marvelous, had they put Voldemort and Dumbledore together.

Yeah that would be an interesting poster. If they have the scene where they are at the MOM. That would really bring in alot of people.

I love it simply because I love how perfectly they've done Voldemort. I mean, it's exactly how J.K. described him in their book. And Ralph Fiennes does a great job personifying him.
