what was hagrid doing?

[shadow=blue,left,300] do you guys remember how in the second movie harry accidently ends up in Knockturn alley,and before all thoose crazy people hurt him Hagrid showed up.And when they were in Diagon alley Harry asked "what were you doing down there hagrid?" and he said "Oh,I was getting fleash eating slug repelant.they're ruining all the school cabbages."

Then when the trio was at schhol(after Harry thought he found out that Hagrid opened the chamber he told Ron and Hermionie)they were debating if they should ask Hagrid he comes up behind them saying "Mad and hairy.You wouldn't be talking about me now owuld you?"And theyy all relpyed "No!"Then Ron asked "What's that there Hagrid?" and he said."Oh it's fleash eating Slug Repelant for the Mandrates."

Now JKR never said what Hagrid really was doing in there.Is it possible that he could be a spy just lke Snape?I mean it's the 7th book and all so you never really know what will happen. ;D [/shadow]

Yeah. That's definitely possible, but I don't think that that is true. I mean it's true that anything can happen in the seventh book but I don't think that it is likely thast he is a spy like Snape. I was wondering, though, what Hagrid was actually doing in Knockturn Alley.

Yeah. That doesn't make any sense, but neither does Hagrid being a spy. Voldemort knows that he is very close to Dumbledore, and wouldn't trust him at all.

I don't know if Hagrid is that smart to be a spy but then again that could be why. If we think he isn't smart enough to be one then he could be one. That statement is so confusing I don't know why I typed it. lol

no i get it!i dont think that hagrid is a spy.i just said it becuase it's the last book and for all we know ron and his family could be spies,although that is a less than 0% chance happening.

yeah Just like with the Mc Gonigal theory I wrote. I believe parts of it but I just don't think it is true. It is fun to speculate about what could happen in the last book.

Yeah. The last book is going to hold many things that we aren't going to expect. It is possible, I guess, that Hagrid could be a spy, but I really doubt it.

i really didnt like the first 2 books so its sorta foggy cause i havnt re-read them...

he got the stone from the vault,which means that he couldnt of gotten it from knocktern alley.

I think that he was just carrying out some very important business for Dumbledore and it was to be kept a secret then he was just trying to cover up the incident because they had found out that he was doing something suspicios in that alley.

hagrid CANT be a spy because he just CANTT!!! i mean, he was WAY too close to dumbledore and now that the 7th books out we know for a fact he was pure good....... i mean, its pretty obvious......
