I was just wondering if anyone had read the books (sofar) in the Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. I've read "Game of Thrones" and just started "A Clash of Kings" (So gimme LOTS of warning if you have spoilers in your post please) I'm loving it  . The best fantasy book since LOTR, if you ask me. |

If you're looking for an innovative, capturing yet funny fantasy story, try the Bartimaeus trilogy. I read it when i was 12 (i'm 14) but it was very mature, and my aunt reads it and still gets a laugh. The 3 books are, 'The amulet of Samarkand', 'The golem's eye' and 'Ptolemy's gate'. lol
