Sarah caught up to Leigh in the hallway outside their dungeon classroom.
"Tessa set Harry's robes on fire," she whispered in Leigh's ear. "It took about five minutes to remember Aguamenti, and by then his robes had burned to his knees!" She laughed.
She set her bag on the floor and then leaned against the cold stone wall.

"Why did she do that?" Leigh asked, holding back laughter. It really ought not to be funny that her friend had set her other friend's robes on fire. She opened the dungeon door and walked in.

"Who knows?" said Sarah, laughign too. She eyed the door as Leigh opened it. she had been planning on delaying her entrance to the classroom. But she had to do it eventually, so she might as well do it now. She followed Leigh in. They sat next to each other and Sarah statrted pulling things out of her bags.
"I hate this place," she said, shuddering. "At least Snape isn't here yet. Do you have any idea what we're making today?"

"No clue! I don't hate it, I just..." Leigh paused, "hate it." she finished just as Professor Snape entered the room. Everyone fell silent, as usual. She hated that he could do that to a room. It made him seem so powerful! (Rofl!! Ok, sorry, I had to put that in there. Just something that happened at lunch today. =) )

"Quick! Sit down, or he'll give you "the look!" Sarah hissed, tugging Teresa to the seat next to her. Luckily, Snape had his head in the supply cabinet, so he hadn't noticed her come in.

"Hey Teresa," Leigh whispered just as Snape's head came out of the supply cabinet.
"Today, class," he began, "you will be brewing the Draught of Living Death."

"Ugh, that's a tough one isn't it? Well, we'll handle that together," Sarah whispered to her friends. She began bringing out all her supplies.
((You know what, I feel pretty stupid right now. I'm at the library and I DO have access to the books, but i have no idea which one the Draught of the Living Death is in! LOL))

"I dunno."Teresa replied. "Maybe it's because he has to touch gross things to make potions." They laughed. Neville turned around. "Guys!We'll get in trouble!"

"Actually, he's right, guys," Sarah said, having always been a bit of a goody-two-shoes herself. She added the first ingredient to their cauldron. "I've never gotten a detention, and mom would be pretty mad if I got one now, you know what I mean? Besides, Snape would probably just make us do something downright foul, knwoing him." She lowered her voice at this last part.
She helped Leigh by chopping the next ingredient up. Sarah passed ito ver ot her and Leight put it in the cauldron.

"Oh, don't worry so much Sarah," Leigh whispered back. She'd had at least a million detentions with Snape. They weren't that bad. Besides, she wouldn't get them into huge trouble, knowing how Sarah felt about it. That would be rude and inconsiderate.

Sarah laughed a little. "I know, I've always been a horrible teacher's pet! I don't liek it myself, but I never broke the habit! But thanks, anyway, Leigh."
So Sarah and Teresa worked together on jucing the next ingredient for their potion. in silence. Sarah felt a bit reckless. She decided to break from her mold and cause some trouble. Without being caught of course, but how? She whispered her idea to Leigh and Teresa and waited for their reactions.
((This is fun!!! LOL))
