Sarah stomps into the common room covered in mud. She slumps in a chair and begin ranting to the random person nearby about the yard work she had to do for two hours that afternoon.
"Ugh! What winter weather we had this year! Our oak tree split in half, we lost two pine trees, part of the poplar tree, and several of the branches on our climbing tree! My brother and I had to hall the branches of the two pines to a pile near the woods. And boy, am I tired!"
I sighed to make her point. "Who hates yard work? I DO!"
She closed her eyes and began soaking in the heat coming from the roaring fire.

"Hey!" Leigh said cheerily, walking into the common room. "What's wrong?" she asked, seeing Sarah look quite put out and exhausted. She couldn't imagine why anyone wasn't happy today! It was such a good day.

"Hi, Leigh!" Sarah said, brightening up with the entrance of her friend. "It's a pretty day out...but so muddy! Do you know when the next Quidditch practice is?"

"Weird... well, not so much I guess. It just has to get above freezing. Hey!" Leigh said to the girl who had just come in. "I don't think the essay this time was so, so bad. He's given ones that were harder, unfortunately," she said this with a frown as she remembered some of the essays Snape had assigned her. She sighed. "Though, he is overdue for a prank.." This brought a mischevious smile to Leigh's face. "Be back in a little bit!" Leigh said, before running off.
As soon as she was out of the common room, she ran to one of Tessa's passages, where she had left some prank supplies. Making sure no one was around, she climbed in and then shut it. No one would be able to find her.
Now, hopefully, Tessa hadn't used the supplies...

"Ugh... where did I put them?" Leigh asked herself, looking around the area she had left them. "Ah, here it is!" She tapped the bricks, which opened a small compartment. Leigh smiled, seeing the pranking supplies still there.
