Oh I was talking about a family that took the whole family to see the GoF movie. The youngest was in 1st grade. I was just mentioning that young kids can handle the movie if they understand everything.

What Happened at Rupert's 18th party? I read that a girl was raped. the sun mentioned it a week after the party. But i don't know the full story so can you tell me what happened Monica

Oh okay, 1st grade!! he's very young, but as you said, no problem for kids watching the movies, but I think the GoF would be a bit tough? there are scary scenes there, I guess some kids might really be frightened while watching them.

I disagree. Don't judge by your sister. She's kinda like mine. They are both the kind of girls who can be scared to tears by spiders. (She's 12 & she had cried because of a spider few months ago.) But my brother, who's 10, can handle nearly anything. He actually loves to see scary movies. & loves action & stuff. Well, he's a boy after all, but he can handle tough scenes. I watch thrillers' DVDs with him sometimes.
Oh my god! That's awful, the poor girl! What happened? I never heard about that!

This first grader was a boy. I don't think he would be to scared by the movie. I think his brother and sisters probably read the books to him.
About the alledged rape. It happened at Rupert's 18 th birthday party. His ex friend is accused of rape. THe last I heard was that the guy said he was innocent. If I can find the article I will post either a link or the article.

Heh, I tried to read the books to my sister, but I got bored. Reading aloud gets boring in a while. You know, mayeb I should try that again. But first, I'm gonna try make my sis read the books herself.

Oh I love to read out loud. You have to put feelings into your words when you do read out loud. I use to do it for one of the classes I work with but I don't get to any more. I can remember the first time I was going to read. The kids were like Mrs. Wyant can read. The teacher said Yes she is always walking around with a book. I just laughed about it. Yeah see if she can read them first or even if you read some of it too her then let her read some of it.

I read aloud when the part is really exciting, the Harry/Umbridge part and Harry shouting at DD, (both in the OotP) I remember myself shouting loudly (yeah, coz the housewas impty), other than that I prefer reading silently.
I will not read anything to my sis, she wants to know the story, she should read by herself, though I know she wont right now, maybe two years later or so.

I was just looking at some pictures on MSNBC and with the pictures were some very interesting facts. The article talked about the dream Harry has with the snake, biting Arthur W., and even about the Department of Mysteries. I got chills reading it and seeing the pictures. I can already see the scenes playing in my head. OH I can't wait till July 13th!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, yes, I wish I can find something I can think about to drag my mind off the fact that...it's near! c'mon guys! I keep feeling that sudden chill everytime I imagine myself reading the book. Oh My God! I can't wait!
