Jake! *fumes* I'm soory, but I cannot STAND Jake!! He gets on my nerves sooooo much!!!
Hehe, BG! I love that part too! Sometimes I'll open the book just to see those parts and I have several icons that quote it.
They told me to wait until July to pre-order Eclipse. It made me kind of mad, but they wouldn't let me pre-order it yet!!!
AHHHH! Ok, so, how many of you have gone to B&N just to read the first chappie of Eclipse in the New Moon special edition?!?!?! I'm in love with it! I was so happy with it that I started squealing loudly in the store, and also did a sitting-down-happy-dance. Hehehe!

I liked Jake just as a good friend for Bella... like if she didn't have him I don't think she would have made it through that tough time. But I so couldn't stand him at the end for what he did. That was so mean.
I haven't gone to an actual store to read the first chapter yet, Leigh. I don't believe I have even read the first chapter of eclipse. I will have get right to that though. But have you read the first chapter of Midnight Sun... Edward's version of Twilight. Stephenie Meyer has the first chapter of that book up on her website. Its really good and you should check it out!

ZOMGGTFOROFLLMAO!!!!!! *hyperventilates* Lookie! Lookie!! As an Emmett Cullen fan, I was delighted to hear that many twilight fans had voted THIS GUY--->  to play him in the possible future film!! Daniel Cudmore is, to me, the PERFECT choice to play Emmett!! ((I mean, come on people- look at those muscles!!  )) So I wanted to know what you people think of the choice. Cudmore was also in films like 'Are we there yet' And ' Xmen 2-3' |

Yeah, I've read the first chapter of Midnight Sun. I liked it a lot! I cannot wait to read the rest of it!!
Emmet!! Haha! I want there to be a movie... and then I don't because movies made from books often disappoint me. And Twilight is so great that I couldn't stand seeing it be horrible-ified (my word!).
As for Jake - Yeah, he did help her through that time, but, for me, that time was just a "waiting-for-Edward-to-come-back" time. Even through that time, he annoyed me.

lol him as Emmett ummm I guess I could see him playing it... I donno he wasn't really what I pictured Emmett to look like. But I agree with you Leigh I want a movie of Twilight and then I don't. I want a movie to see the book put to life with real people, but then I don't because in my mind I have already what I feel the characters look like and act like, and I feel that if they make a movie for Twilight it will change my view of the characters. Like the Harry Potter films... before they came out my view of the Harry Potter characters were a little different in my mind... but because of the movies when I read the books I picture the characters playing out the stories in my head.
I guess I just want the Bella I picture in my head to stay the way I see it and not how some movie people see her.

Yeah.... The characters on big-screen will be wierd... but theres a delicate balanced between bitchy and whiney. Steph Meyer managed to make Bella neither, but if a director trys to rake Bella's personality unto the big screen its gonna be ruined.

Another concern I had about the movie is what are they going to do with all of Bella's thoughts? There are a lot that you would have to somehow portray on screen. I'm just really iffy about the movie, I guess. I don't want it to ruin such a great series for me.

Hey! Ok, so, I just got news about the movie! I actually, probably should have known this sooner, but I don't get on the Twilight Lexicon forums often anymore. Anywho! I was just browsing through them. Apparently Stephenie said something about the movie while she was in Spain. Basically, this is what's going on. MTV is NOT making the movie. The script was absolutely horrid. Bella was "Shakira-like", athletic, and graceful. Problems: Bella doesn't dance, doesn't play sports, and is definitely NOT graceful!!! Also.... there were no Cullens, meaning no Edward. I mean, come on! Sure, you have Bella, but you don't have Twilight without Edward!!! What is wrong with these peoples' brains?! And no Alice or Emmett or Esme or any of them! I would cry... and throw things at the screen. Thank goodness Stephenie said no!! Well, now she's talking to a smaller film maker (but she can't release the name) who may stick with the book. I hope so.... otherwise I will not be seeing the movie. I'll find the link to the post....
