This thread is for the people that are completely in love with Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series.
I'm honestly cannot decide which series I like more. Harry Potter or Twilight. So far, 2 of my friends have read the series (after I made them) and are now obsessed.
Who else loves Edward and Bella? (Not to mention Alice, Jasper, Emmett, Rosalie, Carlisle, Esme, Charlie....)

I have heard of this series but I haven't read any of them. I hope to be able to read them some time in the future. I will have to write the authors name down and see if I can find them at the bookstore. That may not be until after I get the HP book but we will see.

I absolutly love this series... and I agree with you Leigh its a hard decision of which series I like more... or really want to read more. Of course most of my friends have now read twilight and are obbsessed with it as well, and I really can't wait until the next one comes out!

Ahh, I know! I'm so excited about Eclipse! I'm sure that it will be absolutely amazing.
My friend got tired of waiting, so she went and bought her own copy and was making fun of me, saying her book looked newer. I replied by telling her my book was 'lovingly worn'. Other than that, two of my friends are mad at me because I have failed to bring New Moon to school for them to read.

lol Yeah its kinda of like that for me, except that since we are passing around the books so much, eventually people just buy their own copies. I don't think I am going to lend out my copy of twilight anymore since, for one its getting kinda of worn and two its signed by stephanie meyer... so I really don't want it to get hurt I might just go out and buy another copy so I don't have to keep re reading the signed copy that I have.

Ahh! I am so jealous, Mary! I'm trying to get my mom to let me go to the Eclipse prom. It seems like everyone on Twilight Lexicon has their book signed and has met Stephenie, and I'm just like, 0_o *insignifigant little person*.
It would be so awesome for you to read them, Meme!!
Well, my friend Ashlea was almost to the really sad part on New Moon. I warned her that she would be crying and screaming at my book. I probably shouldn't have done that, because then she refused to read it while she was in school, so I didn't get to see it and laugh at her. (I did the same thing, only I was alone in my room.
My two poor books are getting very worn, I'm pretty much going to have to get new copies soon. Along with new HP books. They're warn as well. People tend to borrow my books a lot.

Oh you are not some insignificant person, for not having your book signed... I still haven't met Stephenie, I was suposed to go and see here when she came to Washington DC, but since I had a football game I had to go to my room mate took my book and got it signed... so I still haven't met her yet, and I would really like to see her in person. It would be really great if you read them Meme!! they really are great books to read!

Meme, you should read Twilight first! I have nothing against Inheritance (since I am a fan myself), I just think Twilight is better, lol!
Ahh.. ok, that makes me feel a tiny bit better, but now I'm like "Must... get... book... signed!" Haha. For my art project, we were working with clay. I made a book with an apple coming out of the cover. It was cool.

I'm just concerned. Stephenie said she was waiting to release the cover because it gave too much away. Did the cover change or something? If not... the ripping of ribbon makes me worry a lot for Edward and Bella.
Also, and I may be reading waaay to much into this, why is the ribbon ripping where it is? Blah... I think I'm over analyzing now.
I went to Barnes and Noble to pre-order my copy of Eclipse (I'm waiting to do so with DH, because we do not know which B&N we're going to for the release party...) and the lady told me to wait until June, since the vendor may cancel... *sigh*

Yeah, Stephenie herself usually puts the pre-order thing on her website, saying that we could pre-order it right now... but maybe barnes and noble made a mistake and put it too early... I don't think so but its a possibility.
About how she said that the cover gave away too much... is she talking about a cover that she made herself and would like to see put on the book? Really I mean a ribbon on the cover really doesn't give away that much... yes there is the tearing, but that could also mean that bella is dieing or leaving her "human" life so to speak to become a vampire... it might not mean that edward and bella are breaking apart... but it could....
Looking though at the last covers those didn't really give much away at all... and I like the people who make the cover are kinda of looking similar... but I don't think tha tthe cover that stephenie meant that gave too much away was the one with the ribbon on it.
