OH MY GOODNESS!!!! NO CULLENS?  lol what were they thinking... were there even vampires in the whole movie script? lol what was the story about that they would feel the need to cut out the cullens and most of all edward. I can't not believe those people lol But I am so glad she turned them down and that someone else is writing a possible script. Thanks for the update and great news Leigh! I know! YOU CANNOT CUT EDWARD OUT OF TWILIGHT!!! I would die... No Edward?!?! I'm in love with Edward, gosh!!! I would die!! I cried so hard when Edward... ok, no spoilers. I had to put the book away, though. I think I would have blurred the words beyond recognition if I hadn't. *sigh* Needless to say, you cannot have Twilight without Edward. Oh... there were vampires... but Bella killed Laurent with a gun? Geeze! This sounds like a joke, but the people who have said it aren't people to lie about this... And most everyone at the Lexicon seems to believe it, and they have personal correspondance with Stephenie! I can't wait to hear what happens with these new people. Since they are smaller and newer to the business, I think they'll stick to the book. If they do, they'll have tons of Twilight fans going to the movie and they'll make a good amount of money. |

Eclipse was realized yesterday, and I just received the book in the mail today, I am super excited to read it!!!! lol I just read the back and the inside cover and I cait wait to find out all that happens. I am going to read it driving to the beach... which is like a 7 hour trip so I am sure I will get pretty far... and I can't to discuss it!  |

So didnt know that this was here. NOW I KNOW!! Ok, for those of you who dont know, I've got some AWSOME news. I read everything yall said on the forum, 1. I love Jacob and Edward, but I would probably chose Edward over Jacob.... well, depends on my mood.  2. The guy who's going to play Emmett, PERFECT!! 3. I know who's going to play Edward in the movies. I got an email from my friend Linda Singleton, author of the Seer series. She heard from Stephanie that the guy that played Cedric will be playing Edward. Now honestly, I dont know, I mean it could happen, I just didnt picture Edward looking ANYTHING like Cedric. Did yall?? |

It's true! Robert Pattinson will be playing Edward. I agree, it was not my initial picture of him, but with red hair and gold eyes...yum. lol lol lol! And Kristen Stewart is going to be playing Bella. Yayness!

I can't believe I never saw this thread here! I love these books, they're fantastic (and personally, I think better than the Inheritance Triolgy...by the way I'm still waiting for the third book)!
It sparked another one of my crazy obsessive flings. I couldn't talk about anything else for like, three months! lol I love Bella, she's so human, it's really easy for people ot relate to her. And Edward...well, he's just Edward, isn't he?

And I TOTALLY just foudn out that the movie come out on December 12th! TWO DAYS BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY!!! Booyah!
The fourth book is being released on August 2nd, 2008. the special edition of "Eclipse" is being released on May 31st.

Actually,when I found out Robert Pattinson was playing Edward, I did snoopy dances...
I think my imagination fashioned Edward off Robert, David boreanaz (plays Angel is Buffy), with a tad bit of John Mayer in him.
I think it was a really good match, as Robert has that charming quality, and also has a sunken in face look - plus, he's smexy.

When I found out about Robert Pattinson playing Edward, I let out a huge fangirl *SQUEEEE*. Hahaha. He's perfect! Unfortunately, there are a LOT of anti-casters that are against him and send him hate mail (*coughmilitantgaspardullielfanscough*).
You guys should totally submit a nice message to him for the Robert Pattinson Support Book. (http://paperbag.staytwilight.com/)
They're gathering a bunch of supportive messages/fan art/ect... and they're going to send it to him. The deadline is March 31st. My friends and I have already filled ours out.
I definitely cannot wait for the movie.
Four of my girlfriends and I were going to go see the movie at midnight when it comes out, but now we have to add one of their boyfriends (also one of my best friends.) We got him to read Twilight and now he loves it too. Muahahaha.
I just to work on getting my other guy friend to read it. Hmmm...

WOO! My other guy friend read Twilight without us knowing and then surprised us this morning (though Tiff and I guessed it on Saturday.)
I'm sooo happy. He completely made my day with that.
Though, he didn't particularly like it. He said it was semi-good (I think he's just determined to hate it. =p )

DANG MONICA!!! Geeze! If you just lived in Texas liked I asked you would have already read them because I would have let you borrow mine. But nooooooo lol jk My 6 year old cousin Lauren LOVES Vampires. She's not scared. When she was 5 she was fasinated by the movie Interview with a Vampire (and who wouldn't, Brad looked, as babylupin put it, SMEXY!) Then I had her watch Dracula with Gary Oldman, then the REALLY REALLY REALLY old and first Dracula, she's watched Van Helsing. There is a series called Cirque du Freak by Darren Shan that she fell in love with. When Stephanie came out with these, I didnt read it right away but all my friends kept saying I should. So I read the first one and fell in love and read it to Lauren almost everynight till the end, when the 2nd one came out I read it to her along w/ the 3rd. She is in love with Edward. She has an imaginary boy friend who she says is Edward. Its really cute. This is her for those of you who havent seen her.
