It may be awhile... I am still reading Lord of the Rings. I only have about 130 pages left...

Well since no one has posted in here in a while I will modify this post..
I finally started the Twilight book and all I have to say is WOW!!! I LOVE IT SO FAR. I am on Chapter 4 and don't want to stop reading. I can't wait to see what happens next. I can see myself finishing this book very fast. I will need to buy the next two when I pick up the 4th book this weekend.
I have a new series to read.....!!!!
Okay Modifing again. I just watched the trailers for the movie Twilight. All I can say is OMG!!! I can't wait to see this movie. I haven't even finished the book but I love it so far. It looks great.

Well I just learned all about Carlisle. I think I may finish this book tonight. Now I just need to buy number 2 & 3. I have the 4th book ordered and I have decided to go to the midnight release party. I am so excited about it. I want to thank everyone that told me to read the series. I am ecstatic that I have started to read the series. I can't stop reading it. I take it with me in the car and try to read it at stop lights. Mind you I am the one driving the car so not too many pages have been read that way.
I know that I am going to go see the movie on 12/12. I don't know if anyone will go with me but I don't care. This is just going to be fantastic.
And He does look great as Edward. At first I didn't like the way he looked but then his smile made me see him as Edward. Who would have thought I could get so gah gah over a teen novel....

Glad to help! I'm going to the release party too!! Dude, if I lived near you we should so go together. That would be awsome. I know, I really had other ideas on what Edward should look like, but I guess we cant all be winners.
Maybe reading in the car isnt such a good idea.... you could hit someone while drooling over Edward.... not that I would know from experience or anything..... >.> <.<

OMG, OMG!!!
I FINISHED IT LAST NIGHT AFTER AEROBICS. I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. I WAS IN TEARS AND LAUGHING ALL AT THE SAME TIME. BELLA MAKES ME THINK ABOUT WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER. I WISH I HAD A GUY THAT WAS THAT ATTENTIVE MY ME IN EVERY WAY. SORRY FOR THE CAPITALS BUT THE BOOK WAS AWESOME. I LOVE THE SERIES EVEN THOUGH I ONLY FINISHED ONE BOOK.
I started to read part of the 2nd book and I wanted the book right then and there. I have to go out today and hopefully buy it along with the 3rd one. While I am waiting for the 4th book I think I will read as much of the 2nd book as I can.
Oh and it would be so cool to go to a release party with someone. I always go by myself because no one I know likes the same things I do or if they do they don't go to the same place I go. My daughter's one friend likes HP and she said she wanted to go to the midnight party but her parents wouldn't let her. I told her she could go with me but she was going to Borders and I was going to Barnes and Noble.
I CAN'T WAIT TO START READING THE NEW MOON!!!

I know, I have me, my sister (who's still on new moon) our neighbor, and 3 friends from school are going together. I can't wait. I was suppose to work that night, but I sweet talked daddy into giving me the night off to go to the party. I CANT WAIT!!!

I know. I never thought I would be going to another midnight party. I wonder if I could talk my hubby into going with me. Ha! I doubt that very much..
I will be starting New Moon tonight. I may pick it up tonight before Breaking dawn is released so I can start reading it and maybe finish that book in about a week too. I have never been able to finish any of the HP books in a week. All I know is Twilight kept me gripped to the story.
There was even an excerpt from the next book New Moon and I read that and can't wait to get my hands on the book. I have to give a lady at work my Twilight book. Her and I have read a lot of the same books so she said she would give it a try. She laughed when I told her I was going to another midnight released party.
I am one of the young ones at work and get excited about things like this. The seem to all get excited about different tv shows like Project Runway. I mean that is great but try picking up a book once in awhile and loose yourself in the story....
When I finally finish the series we will have to start a thread or something just so we can discuss what happened.

Oh it is getting so close to the release party. I will be leaving soon to go and wait in line for my book, plus pick up the New Moon and Eclipse. Yes I already know the names of all the books. I will be reading the books while I am waiting for midnight. I am not dressing up as any of the characters because I haven't gotten in to all the books yet. I am naturally pale so I can look like anyone from Forks or a vampire. Lol. I hate the sun any way, just makes me burn.

Our theme was Vampire Prom night, so I put on my mom's old prom dress and added a hoop skirt. =)
All-in-all, though, the party wasn't much fun. The activities were all taken up by fangirls (really annoying) and we didn't even have a countdown. I also noted other things, like the fact that the Twilight fans didn't yell or scream nearly as loudly as the HP fans did at the DH release...
Also, and I'm not going to spoil anything, really... but, I've finished, and I have to say that I hate the book. I'm really wondering if they would let me return it.

Yes the release party wasn't crowded where I was at either. I actually had to listen to my Ipod since I hadn't read all the books yet. I didn't want to spoil anything about the books at all. The girls all there ranged from the ages of 8 to 12 yrs. old. The guy did a small count down. Just like 30 seconds and then when there were only 5 seconds he counted down. The screams were pitiful plus the parents there were just so not with it. They had a costume contest for people to dress up or make shirts or anything. 2 girls came in as Deer. Everyone looked at them not understanding, they had little signs that read, EDWARD CULLEN'S LUNCH & THE CULLEN FAMILY'S DINNER. They won. I thought that was a pretty cool idea. Even though they weren't necessarily character's from the books it was just different how they took a perspective on it.
I finished New Moon already and am starting Eclipse. I have read 2 chapters already. I am enjoying these books so far. When I do finish I will ask why you didn't like the last book Leigh. I am really enjoying this series, I just hope it doesn't disappoint me either.
I hope to finish these books by the end of next weekend. I usually don't read books this fast but I just can't put them down. It took me less then 3 days to read New Moon. I have never been able to do that with the HP books. I know that Eclipse will take me longer because I have to go back to work and won't have time to read like I did with New Moon. I will make time though. I will read another chapter or two tonight. If I am not done by Thursday with Eclipse then I will stay up until I finish it on Thursday since I don't have work on Friday, then I can start Breaking Dawn..

Oh my I love Edward!!! Sorry just had to say that. I don't know why I just do.. The books are fantastic. I will be getting back to reading Breaking Dawn soon. Need to check things out on the internet for a little bit.
I actually like both of them for different reasons. Jacob because he is so warm and cuddly and Edward because he is a pure gentleman and concerned about Bella in every way possible....Ahhhhh...
