...if sirius was alive when he fell through the veil, he would've answered harry's message in the mirror... and he didn't. so it makes a lot of sense that he's already dead... who is Flich? maybe the translation in italian is different...is maybe Argus Gazza, the guardian of Hogwarts? ...maybe sirius did'nt took with him the mirror...

Yep, only in the English version his name is Argus Filch, the caretaker of Hogwarts.
JKR has said the mirror will come in handy again.
Maybe Sirius didn't take it with him, and they find his mirror, fix Harry's, and then use them for another reason?
(Hehe, everytime I see this post's title, I think of "Lookie, Lookie, It's a cookie!")

Yes I remember JK saying the mirror will be used in the last book. I can't wait to see how it is used. I like your idea though Leigh.
Lol Lookie lookie I have a cookie. That was funny.

I'm very interested in how the mirror will be used. For some reason, though, I really doubt it will be used to communicate with Sirius. (Although it would be awesome and I would yell out "SIRIUS!!!" in an overly joyful way.)
That's just what it reminds me of, no clue why. Lol.

I don't think he took it with him because when Harry found it he tried it and he didn't answer. I wonder if Kreacher has it?

Surely Kreacher wouldn't know about it?
Actually, I'm a bit afraid of what Kreacher may know. Now that Sirius has died, could all those commands that Sirius gave Kreacher be void? Could he now go tell someone about the Order? I'm just curious.

I don't think so because he is under Harry's control. I think I remember reading about it in the HBP book. When they were at the Dursley's Dumbledore summoned Kreacher. Harry gave him an order and he had to follow it even though he didn't want to. That doesn't mean he wouldn't go and visit people and tell them things. Remember Dobby did it and so did Kreacher when Sirius told him to get out. They just have to punish themselves when they do something like that.
I remember Harry thinking when he was looking for Sirius before they went to the MOM "Kreacher's hands were newly bandaged." I always wondered if they were bandaged because he lied to Sirius or for some other reason. I wonder if Harry had not been so worried about Sirius if he would have thought to ask what happened to his hands or to even think something more of it.
Sorry I have just been thinking about the books more lately.

Yes, you are right Nutz, Harry ordered him and he obeyed, I still remember that part very well. Kreacher was shouting "I won't, I won't, I won't" so Harry oredered him "SHUT UP!" and Kreacher obeyed. Still he's very mysterious. Am so curious to know what happened to his bandaged-hands.

I know he's under Harry's control, but Harry never ordered Kreacher to keep obeying Sirius's orders. And because Sirius died, Sirius is no longer Kreacher's master, and so Kreacher wouldn't have to keep obeying those orders (I think, he might still have to.). That would make him able to tell people about the Order's plans.

Oh Darn! you are so right! oh I should have thought about this before, but since he is in Hogwarts he will not be able to tell anyone....or do you think he'll be leaving after Dumbledore's death??

I don't know. Harry still owns him so I guess he will stay there until Harry decides what to do with him. I guess the elves have to stay and work for the new headmaster/mistress.
I have something else I have been thinking about lately and not sure if I should post it here or not.
I was thinking about the love of mothers. Okay here goes and I hope it makes sense when I am done.
Harry survived because of the love of his mother. Draco survive because his mother loves him (Unbreakable vow). That is two that I have really been able to notice. I also feel that Neville's mother loves him and there is a reason behind the bubble gum wrappers. Since Voldemort hates LOVE how will the love of these mothers affect things in the story.
There are alot more signs of Mother's love but I could be here forever typing it all.

Oh right..hmm... I am not sure, and I need time to think, but that's my first idea about the subject. Only the love that is related to Harry is the important love that will affect the battle (people who love Harry and people Harry loves), I mean every human being can't help but love others except for Voldemort, I guess even DeathEaters love, like Lucious for example, he sure loves his family, Bella loves her sister, that is, love is everywhere, so only the love in Harry is the important one, but still I want to think about this twice, especially Draco's mother love for him, that needs some thinking, maybe....just a maybe...Narcissa's love to her son would cause her and her son to go to the good side? or would she be so scared to do such a movement? I remember when she talked to Snape, she showed a kind of protesting, like she didnt like Voldemort's orders....UGH!

Oh My God Refo that is what I have thought about Cissy. I think Draco and Cissy have love that makes it hard for them to do what has to be done. I don't know if Lucius has love or just loves power like Voldemort does. If you really think about it Voldemort was created because of the love his mother had for the muggle. The only thing is that V feels that his dad never loved him. I have so many different ideas on this subject but just don't know how to tell them. I think if I get a chance I will write them down and maybe that will help me.

Yes, it is true that Voldemort was created because his mom loved Tom, but Voldemort himself never loved anyone, I bet he loves power even moer than he loves himself, and that is proved by his ignorance, like, if he really loves himself as a human, not as a powerfull dark wizard, he wouldn't ignore his appearance that much, I remember somewhere in the books that Dumbledore described his face with the word "waxy" or something similar just after leaving Hogwarts, which means he simply cared about gaining power, and that's the difference between him and any other human being.
I guess Lucius does love his family, but not that amount of love that would allow him to sacrifice himself for them.
And probably Cissy will decide to leave the dark side, at least Draco seemed interested in the idea when Dumbledore offered him the chance.

Oh. My. Gosh. This made me do one of my psycho jiggling with excitement things as I was reading it!
No Quidditch? Darn.
I am reading OotP right now and I wodnered what that horrible thign Dudley saw was too...
I SO want to find out more about Lily and James! Besides that she was Head Girl, we don't know anything about Lily! We know some things about James to go on by, but we don't know anything about his adult life!
Some of those rumors were kind of ridicuilous, don't you agree?
And as far as Sirius dying, I still believe he could be alive. Besides, Bellatrix hit him with a red spell, ang a green spell, which woudl be Avada Kedavra.
