With Dumbledore we know that Harry will be able to talk to him because his portrait will be around. With Sirius there is no portrait so Harry has never been able to talk to him after his "death".

it's been 3years*going on 4th* since the book...yeah it's sad cuase the only one picture that harry's seen alot of sirius is his escape picture.

I cry everytime I read that book or when I see that movie. Yes it is sad that the only picture he really got to see of Sirius is his escape picture. He does have the one of him at his parents wedding in the book.

Love Sirius and all... but I think he's gone. No matter how sad it is, he is. I don't know, I just think that veil IS a passage to the other side. I don't think Sirius'll even come back as a ghost. Nick said he wouldn't.

What about the two-way mirror? It's still possible that it could be of some use. Otherwise J.K. probably wouldn't put it in the book.
