Well I loved these books just as much if not more than Harry Potter. The movie has screwed the trilogy up for me. Its a piece of trash which I will not be rewatching ever again.
As for the books, I've read the 1st and 2nd and am waitting for the 3rd to come out sometime Summer of 07. If you guys want to discuss the book, contact me. I'd love to.

Yea... the movie wasn't that great. At all... I was holding back comments the entire time while watching it. I hate how people completely screw up books when they make movies out of them.
*Spoilers* Ahh... I just had a complete mind blank. Brom did know that Morzan was Eragon's son, right? And that's why he was watching him? I'm pretty sure it says that in Eldest... Urgh, I hate mind blanks. Time to reread! Lol!

I don't remember reading that about Brom. I just finished that book and can't remember. Now I am going to have to re-read that book.
I have heard alot of peopl tell me that about the movie. Now I don't know if I want to see it.

I'll have to reread it after my friend is done with it. (Why have people been borrowing my books so much lately?!) But I'm pretty sure that Eragon was suspecting that after the battle.

I have Eldest right infront of me, accually! I'm a writer. I read everything! I enjoyed Paolini's book. Not quite as much as JKR. But hey! Close enough!
Also as you can see my name mean 'Spawn of maggots' in the Urgal language.

I knew I recongnized your name. So you are a writer. What have you written? I actually found Paolini's books interesting. I have to say that I enjoyed it almost as much as JKR's. Welcome to ELM Drajl.

It wasn't that hard... Really! I have to agree with you. But I do like Warriors, by Erin Hunter. I found it really good. And I love pirates of the Caribbean!

Is Warriors a series of books? The Pirates of the Caribbean is just movies right.
I was just wondering. I am always trying to find new books to read.

Well Warriors is a story about a cat, named Rusty, whom joins a Clan, and his experences there. The characters are all cats. (I've never had a thing for cats but I can't seem to put the book down.) There is forbidden loves, fights, and suspence. It's not that bad!
Well there is the movie's then there is the younger chapter books about the kid verson of Captain Jack Sparrow, they seem a bit young, so I haven't read any.

Welcome to the ELM, Drajl! I write as well. Congrats about your ELA class!
PotC is great, I absolutely love it. I was screaming at the screen (along with everyone else in the theatre, lol) at the end of the second movie.
The Inheritance Trilogy comes so close to HP. I now have 3 favorite book series, and I can't decide which one I like better. But, hey, you can have 3 favorite books that you like equally.

How true.
PotC, i'm werid in that sence, because, my favorate character is... James Norrington Other then Sparrow of course. But it did make sence what he did. Also according to a script leak, James might die, in At Worlds End, but this called the writers to rewrite the script. So he might not yet! he was soposed to be killed by Bootstrap Bill Turner.

Yes you can Leigh. I have never seen the POTC movies. Now don't yell. I know that is a shocker but everytime I see them on tv I come in the middle. I can't stand watching a Movie from the middle.
I will have to look into the Warrior book. I have read one other book about cats called the Cat Who Ate Danish MOdern but Lillian Braum ( I think that is right.) It was okay. I love cats.
