I know he isn't 15 anymore. He's is 19 on my book anyway that is what it says. They are also fascinated that he was graduating High School at the age of 15.

I'm fascinated by that! Out of school by the age of 15. Of course, it can be done if you're homeschooled and smart. Still, I'm 15 and only a freshman.

I know it shocks me too. I guess when you are homeschooled you can get more studing done then being in school. My son will be 15 in March and is a freshman.

In Eldest it says that Christopher is 21... Of course, I've no clue if that's still his age. I am such a horrid fan of anything because I never remember how old anyone is, lol!
Lol, being a freshman is awesome... except when it's extremely cold and you have to walk to lunch because you don't have a car. =(

Okay. In my Eldest book it didn't say anything about how old he is now. I just went on the website and his birthdate is November 17, 1983. So he will be turning 24 this year.

I got the book! I started reading it on Friday night. It's Monday & I've reached page 152. I really love it! It's amazing, & had it not been for school & such, I wouldn't have put it down ever 'till it's done. I can't wait 'till I finish & start Eldest. The book is AMAZING!

Oh glad to hear that Mays. You will love the book Eldest too.
I thought the same thing. I would never have put the book down if I had nothing to do. I want to read the books again but can't cause I am re-reading HBP before DH comes out.

My friend read Eragon and loved it, but then she read Eldest... she's not even going to bother to read the 3rd book.
I was just "OMG! But Eldest was so good!"

OMG I loved Eldest. I couldn't believe what happened at the end of that book. How can you not love that book? I can't wait for this last book either. At least I have something else to look forward too after Deathly Hallows.

I'm love the Inheritance series! Ok, I've only read Eragon but I do have Eldest, just haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I saw the movie too, but the book is way better than the movie but I still enjoyed it, it made me cry!

I've always put off reading them because, for many years now, I have been a great fan of Anne McCaffrey's Dragon Riders of Pern series, which she started writing back in the 1960s. I am therefore, always wary when someone else writes about dragon riders or the close relationship humans have with those of a draconic nature because Anne is the all time Sci fi/fantasy master!
They are on my list to read at some time in the future, along with Cordelia Funke's (? sp) Inkheart books. But, to be truthful, I'm in no rush to go out and buy them.

Oh I have never read any of Anne McCaffrey's books. I will have to look her up and see if those books would interest me. I never thought I would enjoy reading about Dragon Riders but I have to say I am glad I decided to read them. Sala you should try the Eragon series. I really loved those books so far. I can't wati for the 3rd one to come out.
I cried when I read the books and saw the movie. I feel so connected to the characters and their dragons.

Eragon was a great book, even though it went downhill a bit towards the end. Havnt got around to reading 'Eldest' yet, even though I know what happens in it. The film was okay, if not a little dissapointing. (Murtagh is so hot!!)
