I heard a rumor that the author was waiting for the last Harry Potter book to come out before he releases his. I don't know if that is true but if it is then I have something else to look forward to again.

Why would he rely on JK ROwling on realising hers??? Wouldnt he realise that the fandom for HP outnumbers the Eragon fandom by great amounts??

That is why he is waiting till that book is released. I am assuming that he knows there are so many HP fans that his book won't sell as well if he does it at the same time. I guess he will release his either later this year or next year. They are my opinions.

I was on a couple of sites for this series and they are speculating that it will be released this summer. I don't think it is definate but I will keep a watch out for info and pass it on to everyone.
I do know that the cover is going to be emerald green with a portrait of a dragon facing right.

One of the sites I found inside the Eragon or Eldest book. I will have to look at them and see what it is. The other one was Fricaya. Another site is Shur'tugal.
